A Paduan,
Good point. Thanks for clarifying.

i'm posting this again, for the jws - and i say - how dare you require the life of others.
pharisees thought old testament laws about eating were meant for their flesh - the wtbts does the very same.
the eating laws were spiritual teaching (not a word of the law has passed away) but the unspiritual pharisee did not understand - we still should not eat swine ( be like someone who feeds then goes and whines without having "chewed the cud), or eat the birds of prey (take advantage of those not as fortunate), or eat fish without fins and scales (and be like those at the bottom of the 'sea') - everyone is familiar with this - swallowing a camel and giving to dogs.
A Paduan,

its true!!
oh happy day.
first time in 10 years.
hopefully, I'll have a study with the young fella. Dont know how long it will last, because I'll refuse to use their pubs and insist on a BIBLE study. Reckon he will go for that?
RF:
I did something similar to your idea a few years ago. I wouldn't allow the dub studying with me to use the Bible. She had to tell me her reasoning for believing the WTS without any crutches, only logic. I also requested equal time to respond with my beliefs and why I believed them. This dub went along with it for about a month. The conversations were always pleasant. Then, one day, she didn't show up for the study. I was disappointed. She always seemed as if she was having a good time.
I wish you lots of luck and look forward to your reports.
Love,
Robyn

A Paduan,
I am not a JW, but I am still not quite following what you are trying to say. I do, however, understand and appreciate this statement that you made:
The Word also clearly said that we must eat His blood to have life - so where did you get His blood? It is to intimately take on His life
Thanks for sharing.

does anyone ever get a strange warm prickly sensation travelling all over their skin when thinking about a dream or something which happened?

when i left the religion, i walked away and did not get df'ed or da myself.
in doing so, my wife left the religion at the same time.
in our life we have been very nonwitness in our life.
(((((Marilyn)))))
I feel badly that you and your husband were so mistreated. Yes, you were treated unfairly. We do not know each other very well but I wish you all the best. If you ever want to do a little "ranting" as you put it, or just talk, my email is open.
I know this offer to talk is probably not much of a comfort to you. But I truly hope that you will take me up on my offer.

Maybe we are able to connect with one another when we sleep via our dreams. I do believe that we have instincts, sensations and other gifts that are lying dormant within us. The danger is that we push them down, trying to be overly logical about everything.
Englishman,
I couldn't agree more or have said it better myself.
I do experience something like that every time that one Righteous Brother hits that note I NEEEEEED Your Love.... Unchained Melody .
Plmkrzy,
Oh, yeah!

Kenpodragon,
This has also been my experience. I told my 2 favorite elders that I was leaving. I left with their blessings. Hehe, one of them even told me that he knew that I would be back one day. They have never hunted me down. I have never been shunned by my former congregation. It is possible to leave peacefully.
Great post. I am sure it will help many who are frightened of possible repercussions from the decision that they have made.

Ballistic,
I got that feeling just now reading your post. Incredible.
Oh, did I tell you that I dreamed about you and some other UK apostates the other night? It was a great dream, lots of loving feelings.
Cheers,
Robyn
i just got off of the phone with my wife, and she's been researching my beliefs (catholic) and wants to discuss what she's found.
several subjects like marion worship, sacrifice of the mass etc.
i told her sure i'll discuss them with you, but i get equal time to discuss problems with your religion.. to make a short story long she agreed but she wants me to discuss important things things i fear may put her in jeapordy spiritually.
JG,
It should be a crime the way the cat chases this dog. But the dog loves it, I think. And for the most part, they are good buddies.
I'm glad the fracas happened though. I was getting more involved in this thread than was warranted. Have a good night.
Robyn
