ATJ, I agree the law could be used for profiling, but the laws in every state allow for it. It happens everywhere. It's been happening around here since the mid 80's.
It also seems to me that young men of all races are targeted and viewed suspiciously. When my son was younger he was stopped and searched all the time and over the stupidest excuses.

You know, I got my id checked a couple of weeks ago. Guess what? I'm white and female and don't live in AZ. All I was doing was assisting my neighbor who's blood pressure had shot up to 265/190.

I always trust my intuition.
And I have discovered that I tend to get out of this life exactly what I expect to get; and so, I have set my standards higher. It is amazing the changes this attitude has brought about.
