jesus words "let your name be sanctified" come to mind immediatly, but what did that seem to mean to jesus, and how often did he seem to use the divine name?.

Although Russell did use the name 'Jehovah' on occasion, he did not use it as excessively as Rutherford or the SOciety today. You are right, the whole thing was Rutherford's.
Russell was in fact a 'Witness of Jesus' as he believed the Jews were Jehovah's witnesses, and rightfully so.

i wonder how many of you having read the 11 chapter of romans, see that the jews have not been rejected of god forever.. seems to me from the above verse that they were blinded to the truth, and that this blindness is temporary ... until the fullness of the gentiles, the gentiles, of course being those who would make up the church class, the bride of christ, the 144,000.. what say ye?.

Well anyone with a good interlinear will see that the name of God appears nowhere in the New Testament, except in its shorten form 'Jah' in the book of Revelation.
Thus the arguments of the Society that Jesus and the early disciples went around telling people God's name is Jehovah is unwarranted.

Greetings X, actually I have been a baptized JW for over 18 years. I grew spiritually stagnant and began associating with the Bible Students. I have known about them for some fifteen years and have been meeting with them for the past eight or so.
I have never been DF'd or formally DA'd and despite my JW friends knowing [among them bethelites, elders and servants] none have said a word, perhaps their envious ... lol
In my travels within the Bible Student world, I have found former JW elders, servants, pioneers, bethelites, even one CO.

i recently read a post on the net regarding how often men think about sex.
i started to think about how often i did.
i followed this up with a survey on antoher site and found i ranked low and they told me i had sexual problems.
Oh c'mon people, who has time for sex, when you've got five meetings to attend, field service, Kingdom Hall cleaning, preparing for meetings, Bible studies, yadda, yadda, yadda
