16Starting a band
by TR ini've been toying with the thought of starting a band.
so far it's a one-man band, for i know few in the music world where i live.
what i want to do is purchase a mixer so i can edit my own bass, drum and guitar tracts.

by crittersitter injust want to say hello, am so glad to find others like myself, no longer a jw, but still lovin god in spite of being killed in armageddon, and having family shun me.
when i was a party girl and had no spiritual desires, there was always a chance that i'd "see the light" and go back to jdub land, but since i have become a (dare i say it???)......
a plain old gospel reading christain...i am lower than dirt..apostate scum...buzzard snack(when jehovah kills me during the trib).

Genesis 34 mentions Shechem "took her" "Layed down with her" "defiled her." This can be perceived as rape. However from the account itself, it would seem that Dinah was a victim, that Shechem took advantage of her!

i started to think about how often i did.
i followed this up with a survey on antoher site and found i ranked low and they told me i had sexual problems.

Bah Humbug! Well I figured if my blood family didn't want to 'know' me when I became a JW and that my JW family did not want to 'know' me when I left the JWs, then "go fly a kite" [that's as vulgar as I can get].
I'm going over to New York tomorrow to have a Christmas dinner with some friends from Church. Went to Church today and my daughter made out like a bandit, since she's the only child in the place.
So have a happy everyone!

the remnant
by larc ini gave stats under jw decline, but i forgot one.
during the last ten years, the number of the remnant has not changed, which means that as fast they die, they are being replaced with nebies.

I know of many cases [personally] where JWs would go to the memorial then afterwards go home and meet together in a private home and partake themselves.
They do this because of the stigma it may have on the congregation. Not wanting to fraw any attention to themselves, especially if they are young or haven't been a baptized JW for long.
Many older ones or "long timers" scoff at the idea of some "snot nose kid" becoming anointed, claiming "I've been in the truth before you were born, why would God call you and not." My reply to such ones is, "with an attitude like that, why would He?"

Martini, I am one who believes you can only fall in love once, although you can love many times.
I gave my heart to someone twenty years ago, I have never loved like that before or since, and don't think I ever will. I love my wife dearly, but I was not in love with her when I met her.
I don't believe there is such a thing as "mister right" or "mrs right", but if two people love each other they can make it right.
