have the faithful and discreet slave been replaced (quietly and surreptitiously) by the governing body?.

doctrinally, has there been a subtle shift?.

with the internet and apostate information sites up in proliferation would it not be tactically correct to shift emphasis away.

The Governing body has ALWAYS ruled supreme in the borg. Technically the offiocial Watchtower belief is that the FDS class oversees everything. But the Gb makes all the rules. When I was a witness, the GB never contacted me for my imput. Earth bound elders disfellowshipped anointed ones at a drop of the hat if they disagreed with the GB. It's all a farce!

Mickey Moose Isn't it strange how apostates are always banging on about Jesus? So many have been duped into thinking that they can gain salvation through Jesus whereas we know salvation is only through association with Jehovah's organization.

i mean, i know i'm self-absorbed, however i don't think i have or ever will have some relationship with god that everyone else doesn't likewise have.. .

in case the olympics weren't drawing enough attention to city of vancouver, this year's economist intelligence unit's list of the world's most livable cities has declared the canadian city the number one urban area in which to settle down.. if you are surprised, well, you shouldn't be, due to the fact that vancouver is a consistent high achiever in these polls.

what is it about the city that makes it so great?

according to the economist's gulliver blog, canada and australia do exceptionally well in the eiu rankings due to their perfect scores for health care and education.. some of the other rankings might be more surprising, however - for example, what does one make of the fact that detroit (40th) beats both london (54th) and new york (56th)?.
