I believe it is both. Remember man was created to live on earth. After the fall, that didn't change, until Jesus came on the scene, and talked about heaven. However, heaven is not the reward for all good people. Heaven is only for those who will reign with Jesus during the 1,000 year reign. So only a select group of individuals become a part of the Little Flock. The rest of mankind will live on earth, and not just the JW's.

They'll only follow if you let them. Chances are if you move across the country and attend a new congo, they'll follow you there, when you tell tjhe new elders whee you are from. You could start over, but that may backfire, like it did to a guy I knew. Cheated on his wife, was DF'd and divorced. He moved across country and started all over. Ten years later he was a Presiding Overseer with a new wife, until one day during one of those special meetings somewhere, he bumped into one of the elders of his old congo and had him DF'd. All hell broke loose.

Quality Men who Don't Smoke and Don't Get Drunk...
by White Dove inwhy's it so hard to find them?
it seems like everyone i see around me smokes: my apartments, every job i've ever had, people on the streets.
finding a quality guy that smells good and has a functioning brain not strung out on drugs or alcohol every week is hard to find..

That would be me ... LOL I don't smoke or get drunk, although I may have a glass of wine of a beer once in a while. But I'm married. I guess the same could be said of quality women. I don't care how beautiful a woman looks, if she smokes, she's the ugliest thing to me.

Why did Russell look so different?
by startingover ini have a photo taken in 1915 with c. t. russell standing in a large group of men.
i have seen lots of pictures of him but usually he is by himself.
something that stood out in the picture is how different he looked from everyone else in the picture.

That was the style back then. If you look at photos of Russell from the beginning of his ministry, he always wore the beard and the same style clothing.
Look at the various photos of Judge Rutherford, he always wore that silly W.C. Fields hat
