  What's Your Standard Riposte When You Come Face To Face With A JW?

  i was just recalling the first few years when i was a well known apostate dub, a man of the world, an outcast to be shunned!.

  back then, when i was still a familiar sight, before new dubs who did not recognise me came on the scene, i would often be ignored whilst in town shopping or even whilst imbibing a quick half in the pub.. i quickly realised that there wasn't much satisfaction in being on the receiving end of a snub, or, as h.g.

  It goes something like this:

  He: Hello, I'm calling on some of your neighbours today to talk about the increase in wars, crime...but the BIBLE says...

  Me: That's great! In fact I have a friend who is trapped in a mind-controlling cult, and perhaps you could help me with a few tips on how to get him out of it?

  He: Well that is terrible! Sure I will help you!...

  Me: Come in, let me tell you about this cult...

  He: Would love to help...

  Me: Well, you see, this cult...(describe the WatchtowerCult in detail, without actually mentioning the WBTS)...do you think that is bad?

  He: Sounds TERRIBLE, AN ATROCITY and a CULT!

  Me: Well, what religion do you belong to?

  He: I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses!

  Jehovah's Witness = JW = Jay DUB (elyew) = Dub.

  "Dubs" or "Dubbies" are the correct plural forms of Dub. Also, do not get confused and use "Dud", although they are that as well!
