in answer to the one i sent him..i had sent him some christian tracts .which he admits he has little use for spiritual things ( which i can understand bless him) but he did say he wouldnt throw them away one day maybe!!!.

How many judicial committees did this man sit on?
According to the JWs regime - Elders are appointed by Holy Spirit, no "ifs and buts", this is what they tell the "Rank and File", do we deduce from this that Jehovah was complicit with his actions and therefore satisfied himself, that he should become a spiritual leader (glorious one!!!)
Is the congregation (or congregations) that supported him, also guilty of of being an accomplice?
Any one of the congregation who may be looking at this material should ask themselves this

In my thirty years in the organisation, I heard this (higher education thing) all the time. In all those years, I disagreed with it. If Higher Education was frowned upon as a Christian, why did Jesus, of all people, learn the TRADE of carpentry, surely this must have been time consuming. Also where would the Society be if all of it's members were "window cleaners" (I've nothing against window cleaners). Surely an Organisation/Business at the level they have arrived at, could only get there through the skills of those who work for them

As you study material other than what you were once told to study, (which you can now do without feeling guilty or looking over your shoulder), whilst you may not find the true religion (if there is one) you definitely will find out that the JW’s are not the true religion that we once thought they were.
As Twinkletoes has said, we were duped for thirty years, but the U.N. involvement made us look at them with more interest and we found out many factors that make this cult not to be what they purport to be.
It wasn’t the failings of the brothers (I had put up with that for 30years), it was the realisation that I had misrepresented Jehovah all that time, that made me leave that organisation.
Welcome and hope things in time go well for you and your family, try not to lose your love for Jehovah, you don’t need this man made organisation to do that..
