Back Again about Disfellowshipment.... Please Help!!

ok so i'm doing alot better by going on this website and message board... everyone is so incouraging and wise!

i'm really happy but struggling.. i look at this website and i am down again..... http://www.watchtower.org/e/19880415/article_01.htm.

if someone can pick at this and help me deal with being disfellowshiped please do so.... i know alot of you are going to be like duh will don't go to jw website or stay away from it.

Many many years ago, when I was an apprentice engineer we had one day off to go to collage.

One day when the teacher was writing on the blackboard, the boys through chalk etc at him, he turned round and accused me of doing it.

He marched me down to the head teacher who gave me an ultimatum own up and apologise, or be expelled, as I was innocent of this I refused to do so (I was expelled).

My wife and I were also innocent when we asked for answers about U.N. etc. had we apologised for seeking these and many more questions we would not have been dissfellowshipped.

We had certain principles when we joined the Org. (family ridicule) so why should we abandon those because of pressure from men (elders).

Jehovah loves you as an individual not as someone who jumps when told to do so !

KT PS when I was apprentic, because I didnt go to collage, I asked for money for working that day (and got it)

I agree with so many on this board.

Firstly never give up on Jehovah, it is so easy to think that discipline comes through the Org., it does not.

If you really want to know if they are the real religion read their past history, see them for what they really are.

Example how they twist scripture; 1Cor 5 11-13, they fail to mention 2Cor. 2-7 That is where Jehovah has understanding and concern for individuals. SUCH SHUNNING WOULD BE APPROPIATE TOO…… these are MENS words NOT GODS. They include them at certain points they are making, yes it can sound like god is saying the words!!!!!!!

Remember the Prodigal Son, did God shun him when he returned? did God put him at the back of the room for at least a year, before showing his love ? If he had had a family would they also have been shunned ?

They are going to be answerable for speaking for Jehovah where they stray from his words.

Remember Moses, who just once, took upon himself to speak for God when he struck the rock. (God did not like it)

To me, by keeping it in the public domain, by speaking of homeland security etc., it justifies their (Britain and America ) course of action, that of invading Iraq and Afghanistan, and any other country, thus securing their demand for oil, by making it an annual holiday, tragic as it was, it will never be put to rest.

keep it secret has been wts child abuse policy for years.

he said the policy that jehovah's witnesses have on how to handle cases of child abuse is without equal in the religious community.

why keep these forms secret?.

My wife and I have deep, deep respect for all you have done on this subject, you have given many victims the strength to pursue the Wts.

What is a little bit upsetting is here in the U.K. the majority of the witnesses are not aware of what is going on (unless a blind eye is being applied)

Isn’t it a shame that some victims do not resist the bribes that the Wts are offering?, and pursue them legally, through the courts, showing the world what is really going on.

i've been doing a lot of thinking and have been leaning toward a new conclusion about god.

i'm thinking that i believe in his existance but think that he does not play an active role in our lives.

he does not cause evil but also does not bless...... what do you think?.

I believe exactly the way you do, Since coming out of the wts I look at things quite differently.

We are told to pray, but many in those danger zones do just that, but are still killed by the thousands.

A person is pulled out of an earthquake collapse after many days trapped under tons of rubble many thank God for his escape, but two feet away a child is killed?.

This person, if he believes it to be Gods helping hand, while he thanks God for his release has to ask, is God partial.

But to me there are two ways to see this, he IS partial, or he has stepped out. . ( I don’t think for one moment he is partial )

Having said all that I believe very strongly that there is a God, to me has stepped to one side from mankind, probably because of mans imperfections, man abandoning him at the beginning.

Surely there is a conflict of good and evil in the world

I believe very strongly that God will sort out all these things at some future day.

" this reminds me of c.o dinners it's a major suck up...like jesus and his apostles are coming for dinner.

You will probably never know how many people you have helped by that series of letters.

There are some people who can get taken in with ones in "elder positions" and when these ones speak out, it can bring many weaker ones to their senses.

I agree with you, I could not go to any other religion, having done the research on the Wts it also shows up other structured religions to be ALMOST!!!as bad.

anyway the first thing i asked her was if she had a back issue of the july 09 awake.

she looked through her bag said she didn't but could get me a copy and bring it back to me.

I don’t understand "Reniaa"’s comment, surely if a witness knocks on your door don’t matter what age they are, they are inviting you to answer.

My wife and I had a couple call on us, after listening to their introduction we got onto the U.N.

We gave him Photostat copies of the guardian newspaper and copies from the U.N.

I got him to say "3 TIMES" that he would come back, his words "no matter what, we will return"

That was about a year ago !
