  well, i've been posting here since many years, and i'm sure that there are some that i met here, that i'll still talk to 10 or 20 years from now.

  i'm sure that others also made life long friends on this board.

  been off-air mopping up since last night.

  the mother of all storms hit us and quite suddenly - one minute it was hot (as usual lately), the next all went dark and the most violent of thunderstorms hit us.

  in a time of drought this was some reversal!

  Whilst it looks beautiful and very dramatic I’m sorry for you both if it has caused you problems?

  We have had a lot of rain of late, and living in an old water mill there is a lot of water coming down the brook, nothing quite the same as yourselves.

  I don’t think Armageddon has arrived yet (I watch the news every night, Therese been no mention of it)

  One consolation is the rainbow covenant is still in force!!!

  Facing reality about getting older

  as jw's we weren't supposed to get that old and fall sick, all depending on how old we were when we joined.. but time is passing by and we are getting older, and sicker and uglier....lol.

  was it hard for you to accept that you will one day die, after being told that paradise is just around the corner?.

  when they (jws) use to tell us of demons lurking in peoples homes, they would do their usual "chanting" and "hey presto" the demons were gone.. occasionally they (the demons) would persist, on returning the jws would often find a religious magazine hidden behind the wardrobe.

  on removal of this article the all clear was given.. now that weve found the org to be what they really are not gods chosen people, my question is .

  It’s like feeding the public with cannabis, then, when they are hooked (baptised) they hit them with the hard stuff (Heroin).
