i have read today this quote from one member on facebook going by the name of ruth eeker.. .

based on her quote, she states that "as well in regards to the un, the society has various name versions registered still in the un.

so they are still not completely out of the supposed beast!".

You don’t answer the questions that are put to you, you attack on another front for your answer.

There is a saying,

There are two sides to an argument………………unless your in one.

You are only prepared to see what you have arrived at, you have to allow for the fact that you may just be wrong in some cases.

I was in the Org. for 30years and at 71years of age, I have to realise that I was wrong on many occasions due mainly as a result of the brainwashing tactics used by the Org., they frown on good common sense questions, they don’t know how to answer them.

They also, always think they are correct in their answers, BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT PUT UP THEIR HANDS AND APOLOGISE FOR THEIR ERRORS!

i wondered if you could answer this question for me?

you seem to be fine with the fact that they are false prophets, that they have changed the bible and that they have entered into an agreement to "uphold the aims of the un".. what is the deal breaker for you?.

i suspect that there isn't one, and that is not a reasonable position.. please tell me there is something they could do that would make you question their legitamacy?.

You have highlighted the failings of other groups and organisations as if that somehow makes the WTs correct.

In the U.K., if there are 20 cars parked on a double yellow line, you could in your mind say well, it’s O.K. for me.

But you will ALL get a ticket, you are ALL wrong.

The problem I had when incarcerated in the Org., was I found it hard to separate Jehovah from the society, it is only now, can I see that according to the scriptures they have proved beyond any shadow of doubt that they are an organisation far far removed from Jehovah.

In my own opinion if allowed to express it is,

That Jehovah is not backing ANY religious organisation at all’

But that does not mean we can’t worship him through Jesus Christ.

The significance of this talk in the history of the organization of Jehovah’s Witnesses is spelled out in Chapter 4 of the book "Crisis of Conscience". The voice recording not only verifies that presentation but audibly and vividly makes evident the intensity of the power struggle within that organization at the time of the talk.

Whatever the amount of involvement with the U.N. they are guilty of fraternising with God’s enemy, (he that is faithful in least).

They disprove their credentials by their actions;

Eph.5 27…that he (Jesus) might present the congregation to himself in it’s splendour not having a spot or a wrinkle, or of any such things, but that it should be holy and without blemish.

It is impossible and too late for them to do this.

I was studying in 1974, the elder taking the study rushed in before 75 to say we have only a few months to go, he later denied this.

We have a tape of "Fred Franze" giving a talk on that year.

How many lives have this Org. destroyed by their corrupt lying.

Do they realise they are bringing God into ALL these lies, down to this level of lies ………. of course they do !!!!!!!

Why elders are so CERTAIN of they OWN OPINIONS

elders are told they are appointed by holy spirit.

that means the supreme god of the universe used his force to appoint them over the flock.. that is a major big deal.. so when they get in that back room, and the body of elders meets, or they are on a judicial committee or shepherding or whatever, they think they are speaking for jehovah god himself.. do we realize what that means?

that means that when they feel something, or they are emotional about something, or they get mad at someone in that room, they feel that is holy spirit directing them.. they don't realize they are on their own.

The scriptures you quote 1tim 3 1-10 ;

Verse 6, not a newly converted man, for fear he might get puffed up with pride…………………….

Was god speaking to himself (Holy Spirit) or was he directing his requirements for office to MEN (Very imperfect men), yes he was, and there lies the big problem.

Saying,

If you want to rule over others ……………..you must first be master of yourself.

How can they see the qualities of others and more to the point, are they willing to see qualities in their brothers, when they are so imperfect themselves.

I would say that rules out a fair collection of MEN.

What about the title of "GLORIOUS ONES".

Totally against scripture;

Luke 18 v 18……And a certain ruler questioned him (Jesus), saying, Good Teacher by doing what shall I inherit everlasting life.

V19..Jesus said to him: Why do you call me good? NOBODY IS GOOD except one God.

The elders are not just mere GOOD but far greater than that, they are GLORIOUS

With that title they just can't do any wrong.

Witness parents using "loophole" to associate with Disfellowshiped children! threats?

in my old congregation there are many disfellowshiped young ones.

the parents use the watchtower rule that they need "assistance" from their children therefore can have them over and associate with them more freely.

this has clearly been abused as disfellowshiped kids taking the whole family on hloidays out to dinner, etc....but the elders turn a blind eye.

My JW Daughter sends a Letter to us Explaining her Shunning of Me

my wife and i sent my 22 yr.old pioneer witness daughter and her husband a anniversary card and $ 40.00 and flowers the end of april.

my daughter wrote mrs. flipper and me each our own individual letters thanking us initially for the gifts - and then went into detail as to why she has not spoken to me for over a year and shunned me.. keep in mind as i paraphrase some of the highlights to these letters that the only negative thing i have said about the organization to my daughter in 3 years was to show her the ap news release about the child abuse settlements by the wt society .

i'll quote parts of the letter to mrs. flipper first :.

Very sad situation, when it is obvious that you both love each other.

Sad when we can’t separate Jehovah from the society, that’s why there are so many similar cases like this.
