Achieving Reinstatement and then immediately fading
by Tylinbrando inover the past 8 months or so three people i have known since childhood have accomplished a goal of reinstatement back into their congregations after many years of being disfellowshipped primarily so that they could gain their jw family members back and do away with the condemnation of onlookers judging those family members and the contact they have had during those years of being disfellowshipped.. all of these newly reinstated ones immediately began a proper fade.
no meetings, no service, nada.. is this happening everywhere and regularly?.

It's happened in my cong just this year.
A brother came back to the meetings with his family. He got reinstated last year.
This year the whole family have faded.

25 YEARS of compiled yearbook statistics
by 88JM inhello again folks - as promised in my last thread here, i've been working on turning yearbook statistics into excel spreadsheets.. coincidentally, today is my 25th birthday (spare a thought for a fader).. i've now updated the spreadsheet with yearbook data all the way back to 1988 (the year i was born), therefore it now contains 25 years of statistics.. there were a lot of countries changing around and for some it was possible to create a continuation of data.
some are a simple change of name like south-west africa to namibia.
others, for example - in 1993 with czechoslovakia splitting into two countries (czech republic and slovakia) i have added an extra row that provides a continuation of the data, combining czech republic and slovakia back together as if they were still one country.

Average Bible Studies is a figure the Society provides. I guess its how many bible studies were reported in the whole year, divided by 12.
Now you have worked out there was an increase of 3,765,133, work out how many were baptised during that same period, because that should be the increase.

Rebuttals:"Wait on Jehovah"
by Emery inok i think most of you at some point have come across the apologetic saying "wait on jehovah" from jws whenever an injustice occurs in the organization.
many have also used this expression to abandon evidence against the "truth".
this has easily become one of my biggest pet peeves now since speaking to others about ttatt.

This "wait on Jehovah" from psalms means to wait on Him for salvation, not for the thief brother to decide to give your money back or the pedo to confess all.
Quite simply it's a misapplication of a verse much like Pr 4:18's Light getting Brighter.
Read something out of context and you can make it say anything.

Hi Pyramid,
The peak pubs + baptised should become next years peak pubs.
If next years peak pubs is lower, the difference is due to ppl dying or leaving (df, da, fade). This is the rough calculation I used for Leavers.
Another point to make is any red or blue figures indicate the figures have gone the wrong way, like partakers going up or memorial attendance going down.

Like the original poster on this thread, I know that the WT has not got everything right (something they admit themselves by keeping releasing revised teachings) and I'm working out what Jesus must think about this.
