On that same cloth, are there three letters above his calf, shin, ankle?
Is the first letter "S" and the last one "X"?
They run along his thigh and first look like dark patches.
Anyone else see this?

It doesn't matter if the WT has authority over him or not.
He was asked to come and answer questions about the WT which he is clearly able to do!

i read somewhere on the internet (don't recall what site it was) that jw's donations are going towards sexual abuse cases.. is this true?.
where can i find solid evidence regarding this matter?.
.
So the WTBTS is just the same as the Catholic Church, and purchases sex offender insurance?
I'm not sure that you are making it sound any better!
Besides, when you look at the Candace Conti case, it's WT money that is on the table - no mention of insurances.

insidetheKH not at all
I can see why you would wish this statement to be true, but your wishing does not make it true.
Either the money comes from the general contributions fund known as Worldwide Work, or they have a specific fund to pay millions to victims.
Which do you think it is?
Which would be worse?

can anyone please direct me to a download of the watchtower library on cd?.

matty.
Even the earliest WT Library CD's only went as far back as 1950.
Don't want any of that crazy old 'light' being available!

i have to share this with you.. after leaving the borg i had to concentrate to solve so many personal problems (financial, child custody, etc.
) that it left me with a poor social life.
i just didn't have the nerve/time to make new friends.

does a female kingdom publisher need to wear a head covering if she conducts a bible study in the presence of a male publisher?.
in a questions from readers item published in the watchtower of july 15, 2002, it was stated that a sister should cover her head if she conducts a bible study in the presence of a male publisher, whether he is baptized or not.
further consideration of the matter suggests that a modification to this direction is appropriate.. if the male publisher who accompanies the sister while she conducts an established bible study is baptized, the sister would certainly want to wear a head covering.
This new teaching makes sense.
I always thought this was the case anyway.

why important: many that we meet in the.
ministry are polite.
however, jesus prophesied.
"May I show you from the Bible the basis for that teaching?”
Shouldn't that be "May I show you from the Bible that teaching" ?

to give a little background, my parents are in their late 50s.
around a year ago, my elder dad got laid off from his job.
he worked as a auto mechanic making ok money.
Maybe tell your dad that if he's been praying for a solution and he gets a job offer, why does he attribute that to Satan and not Jehovah?
Some were apostles, some teachers, some had other gifts. Maybe God doesn't want your Dad pioneering - there may be something else for him down the line.
But I agree. Watching people avidly pursuing hardship is difficult to do.

"it's the intent that counts not the result.".
i have been out of the jw organization for some 22 years now and i sometimes get a reminding jolt out the hoops that some will jump through to make their religion make sense to them.
the first line in this post is what a jw on the street here in salinas told me on saturday when trying to justify the society's history of false prophecies.
I would have loved to have heard one more question:
"Since you have been wrong so many times before because 'this is the way Jehovah works', why should I believe you now?"
