despite 2005 being a very popular year for vacuums vacuuming is now very unpopular with 0 mentions- an all time low.. awake magazine:.
.
.
Londo111 How many publishers does it take to run a vacuum?
1. None. They are waiting on Jehovah.
2. It depends on how many the GB tell them are needed. (Note: This number may change at any time)
3. If they are elders they will assign two to investigate it.

There are 80 references to "slave" in the recent WT article *** w13 7/15 p. 20 “Who Really Is the Faithful and Discreet Slave?” ***
80 times in an hour is more than once per minute for a whole hour.
And that isn't including all of the congregation answers that parrot the paragraphs.
It's likely that this word was repeated every 20 seconds for a whole hour. Brainwashing anyone?

im still in and i cant help but feel nervous as more and more changes are coming forward.
i cant help but feel that they are starting to get more hardcore again.
let me explain.
They also came down on music.
*** g93 2/22 p. 26 Can Music Really Hurt Me? ***
Take heavy-metal music—a particularly noxious form of hard rock that is usually played at ear-splitting volume. Heavy-metal bands typically sport names like Poison, Skid Row, Guns N’ Roses, and Slayer. Time magazine said: “The band names alone conjure up images of mayhem, torture and death.” The same can be said of the horrifying artwork that adorns the album covers and that often depicts satanic symbols.

j dubb The only time movies were mentioned by name from the platform was when somebody went off script. I know certain scifi/fantasy movies were mentioned as COs and higher ups in the circuit had their pet peeve movies to bug people about, but I know of no talk outline that mentioned movie titles.
*** g83 7/8 p. 27 Christ or E.T.? *** E.T.—The Extra-Terrestrial burst on the scene in the United States this past summer, attracting theater audiences in record numbers...
Despite its seemingly Christian message, however, the movie subtly condones youthful misbehavior. In an early scene we find youths playing “Dungeons and Dragons” in a smoke-filled room with a lighted cigarette on the table. Later on, when E.T. gets drunk sampling beer, and Elliott in telepathic sympathy feels the effects, it is all portrayed as something cute. Further, some of the language used by these children is gross profanity. This, along with the supernatural aspects of the movie, has bothered many Christians.
*** g85 5/22 p. 23 My Basketball Career—Replaced by Two Other Loves! *** One night I went to a movie with a friend. It was called The Omen. One of those scary science-fiction-type movies. It involved the demons. When I walked out of that movie, I was scared to death. It was about Satan’s child.

Ask your question a different way: How will you manage if you continue in this abusive relationship for another 2, 3, 5, 10+ years? Will things improve? Will you have a breakdown, or worse?
Sometimes the toughest option is better long term.
I'm sorry to hear how you have been treated by the congregation, but to be fair, your elders are not trained to deal with these problems. They are merely told to keep divisions down and encouraqe the flock to pray, go to meetings and go on F.Service.Anything beyond this is beyond them.
Speak with your proper counsellors and listen to their advice. Make your choices not just for today, but for the long term.

it was explained that the faithful slave is the governing body, while the domestics are all those who are fed spiritually, whether of the anointed or of the other sheep..
the july 15, 2013 study edition of the watchtower stated on page 22, paragraph 10: in keeping with jesus pattern of feeding many through the hands of a few, that slave is made up of a small group of anointed brothers who are directly involved in preparing and dispensing spiritual food during christs presence.
throughout the last days, the anointed brothers who make up the faithful and discreet slave have served together at headquarters.
Jesus returned in 1914.
Jesus will return in the future as well.
These are different returnings, one to claim his kingship and the next to reign as king.
I don't know where he went in between the two returnings.

new hotel booking for regional convention in uk.
the website is called ibsaconvention.org.
in order to be able to start booking you need a congregation number which is provided to the congregation by the branch..
I noticed the branch agreed rates have more severe terms and conditions too.
Normally, hotels are cancellable up to nearly the day you wish to travel.
The branch agreement is Pay Upfront - No Refunds.

an eldub recently said, " sure, we have changed many beliefs in the last 100 years, but christendom has had 2,000 years to clean up their act an they haven't done it.".
this was prompted by today's wt session which mentioned nathan knorr's eager acceptance of rutherford's refinements concerning the 1,260 days.
of course, he also said that he can't really keep up with everything.
-- WT 2012 15/06 p.28 para 11: "We never get bad advice from the Bible. Humans, on the other hand, are simply not wise enough to recommend what always works. (Jer. 10:23) Their advice is constantly being revised and updated as they come to realize that earlier advice was flawed. "The thoughts of men," says the Bible, "are as an exhalation."— Ps. 94:11"
-- w97 5/1 p. 8 par. 1 Identifying the Right Kind of Messenger: "JEHOVAH GOD is the Grand Identifier of his true messengers. He identifies them by making the messages he delivers through them come true. Jehovah is also the Great Exposer of false messengers. How does he expose them? He frustrates their signs and predictions. In this way he shows that they are self-appointed prognosticators, whose messages really spring from their own false reasoning—yes, their foolish, fleshly thinking!"
-- g70 4/22 p. 8 Changes That Disturb People: "Yes, millions of persons have been shocked to learn that things they were taught as being vital for salvation are now considered by their church to be wrong. Have you, too, felt discouragement or even despair because of what is happening in your church? A businessman in Colombia expressed the effect the changes have had on many."Tell me," he asked, "how can I have confidence in anything? How can I believe in the Bible, in God, or have faith? Just ten years ago we Catholics had the absolute truth, we put all our faith in this. Now the pope and our priests are telling us this is not the way to believe any more, but we are to believe 'new things.' How do I know the 'new things' will be the truth in five years?"
Or you could tell him that actually, according to WT, we have NEVER changed our beliefs:
-- w81 12/1 p.27 "However, it may have seemed to some as though
that path has not always gone straight forward. At times explanations given by
Jehovah's visible organization have shown adjustments, seemingly to previous
points of view. But this has not
actually been the case.
My personal favourite however:
-- WT 5/15/76 p.298 "It is a serious matter to represent God and Christ in one way, then find that our understanding of the major teachings and fundamental doctrines of the Scriptures was in error, and then after that, to go back to the very doctrines that, by years of study, we had thoroughly determined to be in error. Christians cannot be vacillating - 'wishy-washy' - about such fundamental teachings. What confidence can one put in the sincerity or judgment of such persons?"
