(Although they do that as well!)

i hope that writing this, there will be some lurkers that i can shake.. if you have not listened to mays tv broadcast, please do.
it may wake some up.. note @ around 21-22 minutes into the broadcast lett brings up the the kingdom halls/assembly hall loans have been cancelled and the congregation can now send in what they can afford.
wow...how many banks would do that?.
The deficit that Lett told us about is the same sort of deficit we see at every convention - manufactured.
By moving money from one corporation to another, a deficit is intentionally created.
They are merely using the small scale deceptions plied upon all convention goers, but now on a world wide scale.
Do they really spend $1billion dollars every 4 weeks? (Or whatever Lett claimed). Of course not. Never.
It's a sneaky, forked tongued deception that might be semantically true, but is an underhanded and deceptive plea for more money.
"We don't ask for money" says Lett, before spending 30 minutes asking for money.
These charlatans have no shame. No. Shame.
Jehovah's witnesses have become the latest televangelists begging for your hard earned dollar.
the bible says so much about so many things.
is there an organization that does everything the bible says?
The second flaw is that we're not expected to preach God's name.
Acts 20:20-21, the 'go to' verse to prove the door to door work says:
"...while I did not hold back from telling you any of the things that were profitable nor from teaching you publicly and from house to house. But I thoroughly bore witness both to Jews and to Greeks about repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus."
So the message should be "repent and have faith in Jesus", not "God's name is Jehovah".
all along the watch tower: annual convention returns next month.

They are allowed if there are no males available to do so.
That is the theory, but I've never seen it happen.

Lett can't even read the autocue properly. He reads in groups of three or four words instead of sentences.
We have 7 year olds on the TMS who read better than Lett does.
i went to a j.w funeral and saw some people i used to hang out with many years ago and they all seemed to want to tell me if they or any member of their family were elders,m.s's,pioneers ect.. karter..

Where is that AM3 broadcast where he talks about churches keep asking for money, then says "we never want to be like that?"
It's been posted here quite recently.
i overheard an elder and sister talking last sunday.
she has been helping her mother move things out of her house to get ready for moving into a retirement home.
she told the elder that her mother gave her one of those "praying hands" plaques and asked if she should keep it or throw it out.
Elders make up rules as they go along.
If you don't want to hear made up rules, don't ask an elder for their opinion.
