WT expect their shunning policies to continue unchallenged.
When you can freely leave without fear and threat of losing contact with your family, then it won't matter that they are baptising children.
so i've been pretty good at not going to meetings lately.
yesterday i went for the co's last talks.
older co. his last talk was absolutely shocking.

I notice the S-77 disfellowshipping form still asks the question:
"Did the individual confess, or are there at least two witnesses to the occurrence of wrongdoing or to the same kind of
wrongdoing? (ks10 5:37)"
Will they never humble themselves?

freemindfade Information is more available than ever now, and the kids can more easily access it, get them to sign the contract sooner and lock them in.
Preferably before they are old enough to be allowed an internet connected smartphone.

this issue contains the study articles for february 29 to april 3, 2016.. what about the number of those partaking at the memorial?12, 13. why should we not worry about the number of those who eat the bread and drink the wine at the memorial?12 in recent years, we have seen an increase in the number of those partaking at the memorial of christs death.
that trend contrasts with the decrease in the number of partakers that we saw for many decades.

The WT standard practice is to find a scripture, any scripture, to back up their teachings.
For child baptisms there is not a single one.
But that's ok, because what the GB says is more important than what the Bible says.

They use fear and threat to get parents to pressure their children into baptism, but they rarely remind the parents:
*** w07 1/15 p. 20 Remaining Steadfast When a Child Rebels ***
If your child is unrepentant and is a baptized Christian, he may receive the strongest form of discipline—being disfellowshipped from the congregation. The extent of contact that you will then have with him depends on his age and other circumstances.

*** w06 4/1 pp. 27-28 par. 8 Meeting the Requirements for Christian Baptism ***
Are children in a position to make an intelligent dedication? The Scriptures give no age requirements for baptism. Still, infants certainly could not become believers, exercise faith, or make a dedication to God. (Acts 8:12) Regarding first-century Christians, historian Augustus Neander states in his book General History of the Christian Religion and Church: “Baptism was administered at first only to adults, as men were accustomed to conceive baptism and faith as strictly connected.”
*** w89 1/15 p. 13 par. 17 What Prevents You From Getting Baptized? ***
Clearly, baptism is a serious step. Baptizing an infant is wrong because a
baby cannot understand, make a decision, and become a disciple. (Matthew
28:19, 20) Those baptized during Philip's ministry in Samaria were "men
and women," not mere infants. (Acts 8:4-8, 12) Baptism is for those old enough to learn, believe, and exercise faith.
(John 17:3; Acts 5:14; 18:8; Hebrews 11:6) In this regard, historian Augustus
Neander wrote: "Faith and baptism were always connected with one another;
and thus it is in the highest degree probable . . . that the practice
of infant baptism was unknown [in
the first century C.E.]. . . . That it first became recognised as an
apostolic tradition in the course of the third century, is evidence rather against
than for the admission of its apostolic origin."—History of

*** w76 9/15 p. 576 Questions From Readers ***
But is the
child able to make personal decisions, able to decide from his own mind and heart (not that of the parents) the
course in life he wishes to take? Is he capable of comprehending and seeking a personal
relationship with God, one that is not dependent upon his parents? Is he able to stand before a judicial body,
accountable for any wrongdoing he may commit? If not, then such child is
evidently not in position to be baptized
w62 6/1 p. 330 par. 3 Why
Be Baptized?
it would be improper for infants to be baptized. One must know why he is baptized. Very young children would be
lacking in understanding. It is true that Christ Jesus said: "Let the
young children come to me." But there is no record that he baptized any
young children or commanded that they be baptized.
' i am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

Job 3:1 "...Job...began to call down evil upon his day (yome)"
Job 3:3 "Let the day (yome) perish on which I came to be born"
'yome' is here referring to Job's birthday.
Job 1:4 "And his sons went and held a banquet at the house of each one on his own day (yome)"
On Job 1:4 Barnes commentary adds:
Perhaps it refers only to their birthdays; see Job_3:1, where the word “day” is used to denote a birthday. In early times the birthday was observed with great solemnity and rejoicing.
Clarke commentary adds:
Feasted in their houses, every one his day - It is likely that a birthday festival is here intended. When the birthday of one arrived, he invited his brothers and sisters to feast with him; and each observed the same custom.
This isn't concrete, but it's certainly a better argument than the WT's "the only examples of birthdays are bad", which is incorrect because it fails to mention Noahs' birthday in Gen 8:13 where something GOOD happened - the waters of the flood had drained away.
