Latest incident of this.
w16 Feb p.11-12 Para 14 "Jehovah called him My Friend"
What about us? True, God does not make such requests of us today. But he does ask us to obey him even when his commands are hard for us to comply with or we cannot comprehend the reasons for them.

J.W.'s Interfaith Hypocrisy
by The Searcher inw02 10/15 p. 27 questions from readers - "would it be a form of interfaith to purchase a building from another religious group and convert it into a kingdom hall?
"generally, jehovah’s witnesses avoid such dealings with other religions.
except when cash clarifies their thinking!.

OK TO RE-USE RELIGIOUS BUILDINGS FOR K.HALLS?
YES: -- w02 10/15 p. 27 Questions From Readers
Would it be a form of interfaith to purchase a building from another religious group and convert it into a Kingdom Hall?
[Picture on page 27] This building, which was a synagogue, was purchased and renovated into a Kingdom HallNO: -- w99 3/15 p. 24 Building on Pagan Foundation
AMONG the many impressive monuments that are visited by tourists to Rome, Italy, is the Pantheon. The Pantheon was originally a pagan temple, a "place for all gods," which is the meaning of the original Greek word. Today, it is still considered a Roman Catholic church.
It ought to be obvious, however, that changing the dedication of a temple or the name of a celebration is not sufficient to transform the 'worship of devils into the service of the true God.' "What agreement does God's temple have with idols?" asked the apostle Paul. "'Get out from among them, and separate yourselves,' says Jehovah, 'and quit touching the unclean thing'YES: -- g96 9/8 p. 31 Why the Chapels Are Closing
The list serves as an epitome of the collapse of religion's influence, not only in Wales but in many parts of Europe. Sixty-eight chapels were listed as "now demolished." One that was not listed, in Penygraig, was converted many years ago into a Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses for the flourishing Rhondda Congregation. -

According to Jesus words, the GB fit this description perfectly when they started kicking bethelites out and making special pioneers redundant.
(Matthew 25:41-46) Then he will say to those on his left: ‘Go away from me, you who have been cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the Devil and his angels. For I became hungry, but you gave me nothing to eat; and I was thirsty, but you gave me nothing to drink. I was a stranger, but you did not receive me hospitably; naked, but you did not clothe me; sick and in prison, but you did not look after me.’ Then they too will answer with the words: ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison and did not minister to you?’ Then he will answer them, saying: ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did not do it to one of these least ones, you did not do it to me.’ These will depart into everlasting cutting-off.

Jehovah's Witnesses post 'anti-gay' 'Harness Your Habits' leaflet in North Devon
by OrphanCrow injehovah's witnesses post 'anti-gay' 'harness your habits' leaflet in north devon.
devon and cornwall police have said a leaflet posted through doors in north devon isn't a crime – despite it advising gay people to "control their urges".the leaflet, entitled "how to harness your habits", was distributed in north devon by jehovah's witnesses and contains an article asking "what does the bible say about homosexuality?
"in it, the religious group states that "rejecting homosexuality" is completely different to "rejecting people of a different skin colour" and says their views are the same as people who "view smoking as harmful and even repugnant".it also compares gay people to animals, but says "unlike animals, they can choose not to act on their impulses".the journal was contacted by a reader, who wishes to remain anonymous, who felt "belittled" by the leaflet.

The Bible says that homosexuality is wrong while at the same time saying that some lesbians will be accepted into the kingdom. How does that work?
(Luke 17:35) "There will be two women grinding at the same mill; the one will be taken along, but the other will be abandoned.”

*** w70 5/15 p. 314 The Spread of Homosexuality ***
The spread of homosexuality means that many persons are taking up a way of life that so often brings frustration and misery. It is something detestable and loathsome in the eyes of God and lovers of righteousness. Our knowing what to do to avoid such an unhappy outcome, one disapproved by God, is the wise course to take. The following article discusses homosexuality’s causes and prevention. -

by LevelThePlayingField ini still go to the meetings because of my in wife and it came about that the elders knew of my pissed off attitude about the society getting involved in the un.
so the elders said they could help me get over that and wanted to meet with me.

From 1970 to 2011 the WT quoted from The Guardian newspaper almost 200 times in the Awake!, Watchtower and other books.
I think this removes any possibility that the WT society thinks The Guardian has apostates working for it.
'Apostate' does not mean what most JW's think it means.

I'm pleased they submitted the extremely redacted version first.
This means that if they now try to remove entries in the unredacted version, they can be found out.

OrphanCrow I am curious as to what kind of security measures the elders have in place in order to protect confidential information. Where do the elders keep that information on hand? How is it stored? Who exactly has access to that information?
At my hall the elders routinely leave confidential medical information from the congregation underneath the photocopier lid. When they remember, it is stored in the safe. This is the same safe that the accounts servants and helpers have access to.
I could give you a list of meds the congregation members are on.
