  Jesus fulfilling old testament prophecies like his legs not being broken

  what are everyone's thoughts on this, how his legs weren't broken, he was pierced with a spear and he wore a thorny crown?.

  i'm pimo and very much not wanting to believe, but like the daniel statue prophecies, these ones about jesus stick in my mind and give me "hmmm, maybe" moments..

  I notice that document has a date of Jan 2017.

  a few months back i spoke to an old friend of mine raised "around the truth", but never baptized and wanting nothing to do with the wt.

  he is very hip to what is going on in the wt however.

  i bought an audiobook called "evolution: what the fossils say and why it matters" by donald prothero.

  i heard it recommended on an atheist podcast that i listened to.

  Jacob creating flocks of speckled sheep by having non-speckled sheep drink from a trough which had a speckled branch placed in it.

  Yes, all the pure white sheep who drank from this trough went on to produce speckled sheep that he could keep.

  The gene changing properties of a speckled branch.

  Jacob should have filled the trough with insects as well, to give all of the sheep six legs. Sheesh.

  Hi Alanv, this list of countries came from a Google search of countries in Europe, nothing more sophisticated than that, hence my opening comment "countries which roughly constitute Europe".

  The 2017 figures came from the list darkspilver helpfully compiled (thanks darkspilver!) and the 2016 figures are from the yearbook.

  I had no agenda or preconception prior to compiling the list, so did not pick and choose countries in order to affirm a bias. I was simply looking for whether Europe seems to be stagnant, increasing or decreasing.

  QFR - Posting JW publications on a personal website/social media

  the following is a qfr from the april, 2018 watchtower.

  just a couple of articles back the organization was explaining how jws need to be encouraging and even when admonishing congregations jesus would start out with encouraging words.

  we see none of this in the qfr, rather, it is heavy handed and legally incorrect.. why is it not permissible to post publications of jehovah’s witnesses on a personal website or on social media?.
