after some considerable thought i have decided that i will no longer post on this forum because i want to return to jehovah.

thank you for all the kindness and many interesting discussions over the years.

I can understand it to a degree.

I think the WT are correct on a number of things, and it's a pull when you know they have been right all along.
I also think they are incorrect on certain things, including the way fear and threat are used to stop the exposing of false teachings and flip flops.

All I would say to you SBF is not to put your life in their hands, and keep thinking for yourself as well - not all 'food' is fit for consumption, although some of it is.

I hope you find what makes you happy.

jesus, however, said that in the resurrection there would be no marriage or giving in marriage.

but over on jwr poster cg4205 has noticed something that demands a seperate thread i think.. at the top of the article, in the can you answer box, it says:.

No, not a typo. Paragraph 2 answers that "Can you answer?" question by saying:

"In fact, Jehovah has already become king in our day!... Jehovah's becoming king is not the same as the coming of Gods kingdom"

So both Jesus and Jehovah became kings in 1914.

Makes sense to me. It's no different to before really. I've always believed this.

a new view of truth never can contradict a former truth.

new light never extinguishes older light, but adds to it.

So the questions are:

1. Since the WT also quote old publications, after how long does a Truth exceed its 'use by' date?

2. How long until todays Truths become too old, and therefore no longer Truth?

3. Gods other publication, the Bible, is old. Has this become irrelevant and superceded because of its age?

It refers to resurrection to the heavens. This is where there is no male/female or marriage.

BTW, Adam and Eve don't get a resurrection.

i am pretty annoyed to read/hear them saying that they are the true christian religion because they preach, follow the bible bla..bla..bla... let's list down the things in the bible that they don't follow/do.

i'm sure they are plenty.. the fruits of the holy spirit, that's for a start.. .
