This commemorative song is late. It should have been available and sung in 2014 to mark 100 years.
Sloppy and disrespectful.

this week's service meeting, the whole 30 minutes, is devoted to the "new songs" foisted upon jws.. note this from paragraph 8 of the km article that is to be considered:.
we will conclude our meeting today with the new song entitled the kingdom is in placelet it come!
this song, which was featured at the recent annual meeting, was specially composed to mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of the kingdom.. .

I heard quite a few messed up problems at the "Farm" where one "spiritually qualified" Bethelite lost the WTS 400,000 mid-80 dollars. When the WTS brought in jw construction staff because the inhouse Bethelites were totally incompetent.
I heard the same happened in the UK recently when one assembly hall was renovated.
The new roof needed specialised skills to complete it, but the local wannabee's tried to do it themselves.
After it leaked, professionals were called in.
The whole fiasco came to around £300,000 of the local congregations kindly donated contributions.
But who cares when it's easy come, easy go?

re: jw broadcasting.
dear brothers:.
we are writing to inform you of an exciting initiative that was announced on october 4,.
I heard recently that a nearby kingdom hall has just installed a roku. This will likely be to fulfill the recent letter to all congregations instructing them to organise monthly jw TV screenings for all those who do not have internet access at home.

yes- everyone has faults and makes mistakes; an organization even more so.. yet, you ignore all the fingers pointing at you.. many here have no faith.
many here go to churches who lie about everything biblical; look at x-mas!.
but at least we know god and christ and try to live up to their name!.
Keep reading DocHouse... 1 Cor 1:12 What I mean is this, that each one of you says "I belong to Paul", " but I to Appollos", "but I to Cephas", " but I to Christ".
Despite what Christ says, you say "I belong to the WT", "but I to the GB", "but I to jw.org".
You do as you are told by these men and not by what Christ tells you, otherwise you would reread the verse you just quoted and apply it to yourself first.
Ironic really, seeing as this thread is about having a rafter in your eye.

ok, so the time has finally come to register an account on this site.
not that i think i have much to contribute to the discussions here, but more out of a desire to show that yet another person has learned ttatt.
i am a fader, not discussing ttatt with anyone as i know the inevitable outcome it would have.
Welcome to the board LMR, I hope we hear more from you in the various discussions.
The journey out of the JW's is a tough one and a long one, but once you see through all of the lies, it's a journey you have to take.

NO truth is in the RCC at ALL
I already gave you an example of where the RCC found truth before the GB did, but if you want to lie, ignore facts and live in denial then I'm not going to try to stop you. It's only yourself you're deceiving and being untrue too, so fill your boots.
If I'm wrong then refute my statement about the "superior authorities" being identified correctly by the RCC decades before your idols copied them.
I know you won't, because your arguments are superficial and you have no depth. You are told what to believe and you lap it up no matter how ridiculous it is. You cannot answer cofty because he understands what he speaks about, while you need the WT to speak your mind for you.
Right now you can't see how blind and pitiable you are, but I'm sure you will heal in time, especially if you stick around here and learn to think once again.

Be kind to dochouse. He's just woken up mentally and can't handle the cognitive dissonance.
Give him a few months and he'll quit parroting WT articles and start accepting what is patently and provably true instead.
It's a grieving process, as a lifetime of falsehoods and absurdities die.

i have updated the article at memorial partakers with the figures released for 2014. no surprises here, it has risen yet again, this time by 6% over last year, and is now 14,121.. .
.
In 1925 there were 90,434 partakers, everyone who attended partook.
In 1935 there were 52,465 partakers, interestingly out of 63,146 attenders!
Add to this last years figure of 14,121 who would not be in the 1935 figure, and you're up to 66,586 partakers in the last 80 years (ish)
This leaves 144,000 - 66,586 = 77,400 partakers between the first century and the 1935.
But in the first century there were 3,000 baptized in Acts 2:41;
"All of Samaria, both men and women" were baptized in Acts 8:9-12;
and "many Corinthians" in Acts 18:8-11 which took 1.5 years.
There are also many congregations mentioned in the scriptures, some written to, all full of baptized (anointed) people:
There were "many in Joppa" (Acts 9:42),
"a great number from Antioch" (Acts 11:21),
"a great multitude in Iconium" (Acts 14:1),
"quite a few in Derbe" (Acts 14:21),
"a great multitude" in Thessalonica (Acts 17:4),
"Many" in Beroea (Acts 17:12),
"Jews and Greeks" in Corinth (Acts 18:4), and
"many thousands (literally 'myriads' - 10,000's) of Jews" (Acts 21:20).
Tacitus says that under Nero (2nd century) "a great multitude" of christians were executed.
During the many persecutions under Maximus, 1,900 Christians were martyred in Sicily alone.
Diocletian (3rd century) killed 17,000 in one month.
Eusebius says that during one of the persecutions, ten thousand men (not counting women and children) were killed in Egypt. The executioners blunted their swords and had to work in relays.
How many does that make?

"1914 is pinpointed in Daniel"
Yes it is for every JW, in order to shore up their crumbling and risible doctrines. To someone who genuinely seeks facts and truth, however, 1914 has no basis whatsoever in scripture.
When they finally change this date, as they will have to, you and the rest of JWdom will have no choice but to accept it as New Light.
Then you'll all pat each other on the back, worship the GB a little more, and trumpet how this "makes sense" and that you "always thought that".
Same old same old. Just keep thinking what you're told to think.

If you want to know if I'm self aggrandizing, please read my other posts - there are plenty to choose from. In this instance I wanted to divert the 'athiest' accusation up front.
I'm not interested in esteem or position in the JW's or from internet forums. I'm interested in exposing the high control statements, flip flopping teachings, untenable doctrine, and outright falsehoods of the organisation.
Being 'in' has advantages not available to those who are 'out', and difficult as it may be in the short term, there are numerous reasons why many who are mentally out still remain in.
PS, if you have any questions about the CA or DC baptism process, I'll be happy to fill you in.
