  it was explained that the faithful slave is the governing body, while the domestics are all those who are fed spiritually, whether of the anointed or of the other sheep..

  the july 15, 2013 study edition of the watchtower stated on page 22, paragraph 10: in keeping with jesus pattern of feeding many through the hands of a few, that slave is made up of a small group of anointed brothers who are directly involved in preparing and dispensing spiritual food during christs presence.

  throughout the last days, the anointed brothers who make up the faithful and discreet slave have served together at headquarters.

  Jesus returned in 1914.

  Jesus will return in the future as well.

  These are different returnings, one to claim his kingship and the next to reign as king.

  I don't know where he went in between the two returnings.

  in order to be able to start booking you need a congregation number which is provided to the congregation by the branch..

  I noticed the branch agreed rates have more severe terms and conditions too.

  Normally, hotels are cancellable up to nearly the day you wish to travel.
  The branch agreement is Pay Upfront - No Refunds.

  an eldub recently said, " sure, we have changed many beliefs in the last 100 years, but christendom has had 2,000 years to clean up their act an they haven't done it.".

  this was prompted by today's wt session which mentioned nathan knorr's eager acceptance of rutherford's refinements concerning the 1,260 days.

  of course, he also said that he can't really keep up with everything.

  -- w97 5/1 p. 8 par. 1 Identifying the Right Kind of Messenger:    "JEHOVAH GOD is the Grand Identifier of his true messengers. He identifies them by making the messages he delivers through them come true. Jehovah is also the Great Exposer of false messengers. How does he expose them? He frustrates their signs and predictions. In this way he shows that they are self-appointed prognosticators, whose messages really spring from their own false reasoning—yes, their foolish, fleshly thinking!"

  -- g70 4/22 p. 8 Changes That Disturb People: "Yes, millions of persons have been shocked to learn that things they were taught as being vital for salvation are now considered by their church to be wrong. Have you, too, felt discouragement or even despair because of what is happening in your church? A businessman in Colombia expressed the effect the changes have had on many."Tell me," he asked, "how can I have confidence in anything? How can I believe in the Bible, in God, or have faith? Just ten years ago we Catholics had the absolute truth, we put all our faith in this. Now the pope and our priests are telling us this is not the way to believe any more, but we are to believe 'new things.' How do I know the 'new things' will be the truth in five years?"

  That 5/10/20 should go.

  It always defaults to 10 and I have to change it to 20. What a pain! Who in their right mind would choose 5?

  Apart from that one niggle, I'm starting to get used to it.

  Do you have extended family that you could help? Any entrepreneurial nephews or nieces that are trying to start their own businesses?

  Has any individual or organisation helped you or your family during your lifetime? I'm thinking about hospitals, support groups, wise advisors etc that have benefited you.

  Could you sponsor a local food bank, soup kitchen or other charity that you see makes a difference in your area?

  I'm not suggesting that you give it all away, but a little from you can make a huge difference to others.

  And has been suggested, you've done very well - make sure that you live your dream too!

  There was a WT article discussing this. They never considered the cross and crown as something to idolise, just something to identify themselves with. The new logo fits that exact same description, so according to the above quote, it does constitute idolatry.

  jw dot org is the modern day golden calf.
