  Definition of "Active Publisher" depends on the context

  i don't know what the current definitive rule is that determines whether someone is viewed as an "active publisher" or not.

  i've seen comments suggesting that it is reporting a certain minimum number of hours per month which seems reasonable.. what is interesting is how they change the definition of what an active publisher is based on the context.

  normally, you are never doing enough, however much you are doing, and too little or some missed reporting will get you a talking to.. but note how they class 'active' in one of the latest body of elders letters:.

  If you miss a month you are 'irregular'

  If you haven't reported for 6 months you are 'inactive'

  WTWizard My favorite flashlight is the Fenix LD22 and its little sister the LD12

  I have the LD12 and absolutely love it. Single AA Eneloop XX and I use it for everything. Scouting around the rear of my hifi to plug stuff in (low setting so as not to dazzle), seeing my way when I wake up in the night (low so as not to wake others), to being out at night.

  Picked up this diffuser for next to nothing and it makes the LD12 even more useful.

  The CO submits his mileage to the visited congregation each week and they vote and approve the paying of his fuel and other expenses so he has no motoring related costs to pay for himself.

  120,000 UK publishers x £3 = £360,000.

  £360,000 x 4 years = £1,440,000. Divided into 85 cars = £17,000 per car.

  Vauxhall Astra's start at about £15,500. Then there's the insurance and service costs over 4 years.

  i hated ministry book bags.i hated coming out of my home with the book bags looking like i was going to a seminar.so,i starting going to the ministry school and sunday bible meetings holding only the required books for that day in my hand.. for the sunday meetings,i would just carry the song book,bible and watchtower magazine in my hand.

  no book bag!

  for the ministry school,i would just carry just what necessary for the evening.

  Hey, I used a pilots case like that when I was the TMS overseer!

  You really do need something that size for all the books you needed in that job!

  I once had a sister sit in the back of my car. I told her that I'm not her taxi, and if she wants a lift then she has to sit in the front. Sheesh.

  so, some of you may have seen my thread from yesterday about my wife waking up.. we had further discussion yesterday evening after i sent her the pbs video on the abuse scandals plaguing the watchtower.

  she was so furious and pissed off at wt hq.

  apparently a close relative of her's was abused by an elder and the only reason he was reproved and removed as an elder was because he confessed.

  we had a laugh last weekend at our s.a.dthe visiting speaker was from the london bethel (bcm)during the last talk he was trying to encourage the bros not to read non society lit.

  the example he uses was of a m/s bro who used to really study his wtwell for a sunday, however he occasionally used secular sources to back up his research.. our bethel speaker in order to prove how wrong this was explained very quickly that because of this secular research, "this brother fell away and caught aids".

  the brothers and sisters in the audience where very shocked at the folly of our ex-brother.
