Jehovah's Witnesses cease to exist before the year 2000
by rory-ks inseptember 1st, 2012, can be marked down in the theocratic calendar as the day the watchtower bible and tract society marched shamelessly into the 21st century.
on that day, jw.org, official website of jehovah's witnesses, went live, and with one strike the organisation put a match to its past.. .
seek out the society's online library, its searchable database of publications, and you will soon see that it has only made available literature published since the year 2000. inclusion of the generic work, insight on the scriptures, is of no consequence.

watchtower society at lost to handle relative
by lightreturns ini have a relative that previously followed new age movement before becoming a jehovah witness.
he listened to a lot of brain entrainment cd's, and now claims it's affecting his life as a witness.
these sound frequencies supposedly have altered his ability to follow watchtower rules effectively.

He's told me that it's basically a game to get out of responsibities. He told the elders that he cant do anything until he's helped, as it may affect the whole congregation. I don't know how he came up with this, but basically right now he's not being used. Im just wondering can they disfellowship him for this "supposed' previous life interference? He told them even writing a letter might affect a householder in an unclean way. They have been by to pray with him, and are really at a lost on how to proceed. Regardless of how this goes, it's the most insane plot I've ever heard.

These sound frequencies supposedly have altered his ability to follow watchtower rules effectively. I know it's a creative excuse to stop doing anything related to the faith. They are seriously trying to help him rid of "demonic" influences from his previous life that's now effecting him. I honestly wonder what will come of him, if the society is unable to deprogram him,and reprogram his their way. He basically has no responsiblities stating " light" will affect everything that he touches. It's a crafty game that he's playing, and I can't wait to see the outcome to this.

What Did You Do As A Witness That Could Have Gotten You Into Trouble Had The Elders Ever Known About It?
by minimus inmy elder buddy and i would frequent strip clubs when we wanted to.. a few friends knew i enjoyed clubbing and music concerts and i seldom ever spoke of my private social life to others.. i know many jws, including elders, that drank excessively but that wasn't considered too big a deal..

I started thinking independently, after I read Mankind's Search for God Book. I wondered how GB could research various faith's without it affecting their thoughts. It made no sense that my mind could stray, while GB's mind stayed in perfect enlignment with God. Actually everytime I heard criticizm of other faiths, it made my thinking more independent lol.

More Disclosure Stuff
by metatron inhardly a week passes without some credible figure testifying to ufo reality.. http://beforeitsnews.com/unexplained-phenomena/2012/08/ufo-disclosure-may-be-imminent-2430224.html.
i've followed ufo stories for some years now and this barrage of authoritative people looks unprecedented.
couple that with the claim that ufo sightings have increased enormously in the past couple years and...... who knows?.

Would you go running back?
by Nambo inif the tribulations started tomorrow, and all you knew of the bible was what the jws had told you, would you suddenly think, "they said this would happen, and it is, therefore they must be right", and go running back?.
or would you think, "just because eventually biblical prophiesies came to pass that "they" had read you from the bible, doesnt mean they are the chosen religion, because they get all these other doctrines wrong", and know these doctrines well enough to be able to convince yourselves.. .
replies such as "it wont happen cause its a fairy story" wont really help..

I sent in letter of dissociation recently am so happy. I wouldn't run back, as constantly hearing about tribulation destroys the mind.

Were You Ever Comfortable Going From House To House?
by minimus inbecause i was raised a witness, i don't think i was "uncomfortable" knocking on strangers' doors.
(weirdo).. but as i got older, i simply didn't want to bother anyone so i was at there door for no more than 30 seconds.
at the end i hated being there..

I was never comfortable with it, as I feel sympathy watching householders squirm. I wouldn't have any problem if the pushy tactics were nonexistent. Having social anxiety I understand when people want to be left alone. Then others rag on you for not caring enough to continue invade others space.

I saw an anonymous quote on twitter explaining why paste bin was deleted. Anonymous said they don't want watchtower monitoring their efforts.
