  YHWH is not evil. He has created evil and may have created satan to do evil under his control- but I can't confirm that.

  witnesses always say when a person comes into the "truth"(deception) it was because jehovah saw they had the right "heart condition".

  so they're basically saying that only 7 million people on earth which is way less than 1% of the population have good hearts and are good people.

  i have been back to meetings for a month now.

  prepared for them all except for when i went on holiday.. todays wt is about jehovah's organisation, it's clear loaded language and manipulation through fear.

  i am not perturbed by it in the least.

  the flip side about going to the meetings (even hoping that somewhere there is some hope of honest truth) since you know the truth about the truth is to feed this forum about the continued stupidness

  gb member anthony morris mentioned a letter that was sent to bethel by a concerned jw fearing the gt.

  he mentioned it on the last sunday talk.

  i always wondered if any letter sent to bethel ever reached gb eyes.

  I heard that and immediatly thought of the "To Go Bag" they said should be ready in case of emergency- let alone disaster during the great tribulation! Something doesnt add up.

  When I was on my way back in some 11 years ago - I was looking for a hall to begin my way back and the few I visited not one elder or person came up to me. I guess I had that disfellowshipped look or mark on my forehead.

  It wasn't until my 3rd (3 strikes and you're out thing) try that an old elder friend reconized me and grab me and said what you doing here- I explained and he said you will go here to this hall and I will look after you. So I stayed.

  so my mum excitedly calls and tells me how the brothers are now told to pack a survival emergency bag, so the tribulation is coming!!!

  talk about clutching at straws.

  shes packed her bible of course and the some non essential stuff like food...he he.

  This thread is now alive today- "local needs" part-- Are you prepared for disasters?

  Loving provision from Jehovah to have your "To-Go Bag".

  Emphasis wasn't on Armaggedon but disasters in general.

  I guess I should get mine together since I am not being obedient to the "slave"!

  -Jehovah cares for you and shows it through the publishing of christian publications.

  leviticcus 14 -16. well i thought most of it was not appllicable for our day and certainly some parts are not appropriate for children.

  chapter 14 is about cleansing from leprosy.

  i didn't read the verses, i 've read leviticus before.

  Kate xx, if I'm understanding you correctly---you are right on, it doesnt matter how much you go to the hall or listen too the meetings --there is no mental switching back to the mindset before the "change". There is no switching back.

  I am still (one foot in- one foot not there) because of my pioneer wife who I promised I would be this (kingdom hall) "spirtual" person when we got married and I have lived up to half of it since my mental "change" of knowing the "real truth" about the truth 8 years ago. My love for her is keeping me in right now. The recent WTBS changes are slowly 'shaking" her JW mentals loose and she is realizing how things are not making sense.
