  i'm just curious what everyone's view of hell is.

  i know that most of you were at one time jws and i was wondering if you still held to the no-hell doctrine or if you had found scriptural reasons to believe otherwise.

  if the latter applies, would you be so kind as to share the scriptures that have enlightened you?.

  Just wanted to add something else that I had found on http://www.carm.org.

  Anyone who has the The Kingdom Interlinear Translation of the GREEK SCRIPTURES should turn to John 8:58 and read the greek translation of this scripture (on the left) and then how this scripture is translated into the NWT (on the right). Isn't it amazing how the words "I AM" can translate into "I have been"???...LOL. Seems like (especially in light of the translation found at John 1:1 in the NWT, as well as many other scriptures) that this bible has been written to conform to some organizations ideas rather than being translated for accuracy.

  Even if this is an urban legend it is really cute. I especially liked the ending (quoted below)...heck my husband doesn't even do half of these. What a beautiful way of viewing our heavenly father.

  Keep these thoughts with you throughout the coming years!

  1. If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it.
  2. If He had a wallet, your photo would be in it.
  3. He sends you flowers every spring and a sunrise every morning.

  i am shocked at the many accusations against jehovah's witnesses in this forum.. i know that i am young, but most of my family are jws and they are good people and i love them.

  even my worldly family is very nice and i do not shun them.

  the friends in the hall are very nice also.
