late reply. sorry. in no way was i infering that china had anything to do with 911. i was refering to the pennies on the buck that they paid for scrap metal. it was off topic but it was a snarkish way of saying that the metal,(a commodity) could have been more usefull had it been recycled and reused here... that was high quality stuff. and for anyone saying that it was not reused for sentemental purpouses, bs. how long after the attack did they start selling commemorative coins clad in silver-supposedly recovered from the WTC. how much better would a WTC memorial highway or rail be? what i was really saying is that the reason we do not perform greater engeneering, medical, economic, etc. feats; is not because we lack motivated, creative or great minds. nor do we lack raw materials. we lack great leadership. it makes me truely sad that such talent is being wasted. that is why this country is in decline. its like having all of the ingrediants for an awesome chili and still screwing it up due to incompetince.

SOOO I had my Tarot read the other day. (what would JW.org say?)

no hate .
no pain .. intersesting though how many of the cards were relevant to my current state of impasse in my life: knowing it has to change, but not knowing how to go about it.. oh and next july i am supposed to be getting sizzzling sex with the love of my life.. watch this space.... what do you think of the tarot - crap, cold reading at a distance, relevant, useful tool to make you think?.

i noticed something when reading the verses in zechariah, though.
judas sold out and betrayed jesus, however zechariah is a prophecy being spoken by jehovah and pertaining to himself.. vs 12: "then i said to them:" who is the "i"?

i wonder how much steel was from the world trade centers. either way it does not suprise me to see asians out whataburgering us. many of them study here and take what they learn back home. also they have access to and can improve designs that took us years and $$$ in R&D. ultimately, it is a damn shame that america is lagging. we have the resources and ingenuity to surpass this feat 100 times over but will not because oil, traffic citations, cabs, busses, and special interests would take a huge dump within the first 3 years. wow we are effed. merry jesus day.

Another solution for reducing USA firearm homicide rate
by besty inbeen thinking about this for a while now.
in the absence of strong political leadership to enact stricter gun regulation it is clear that the people must excercise their 2a rights and bear arms.. think about the facts.. 9000 firearm homicides a year in the usa.
only 600 of those were by us - the good guys - law enforcement + justifiable action by joe sixpack.

is that supposed to be a minus sign before law enforcement? i dont have the exact numbers but botched raids happen quite often, most people just dont hear about them. i like your idea tho. as i have stated before, i live in a pretty low crime area. the reason is because you can never tell who is packing. even little old ladies carry around here. if you ban guns, only the criminals will have them.
