Guilt over Self-Pleasuring as a Dub. You?

i'm wondering if any of you suffered major guilt over getting yourself off while a dub.

or did you all manage to abstain until you left?

i know it was one of the main reasons i left.

No, no guilt because, you see, NOWHERE in the bible are toys prohibited!!

Ok, in honesty, back when I was a dub, sure I felt guilt. But then, I pretty much felt guilt over everything, which is how the WTS wanted me to feel. How much easier it is to control someone when they feel guilty and ashamed about most aspects of their lives. Combine guilt with the second most powerful human drive and hey presto! you have an extremely useful tool to enforce obedience.

ahhh, just blowing off a little steam here...perhaps many of you have been through the same shit.

i knew for the past couple of years that my uncle in mobile was dying of cancer.

well, the last time my mother and i talked (around october i think)she said, "well, we were in mobile all last weekend for uncle *****'s funeral".

I get next to no information also about people that I was close to...it's amazing to me how they treat me as if I truly were dead and gone. At least my kids won't ever have to experience such hurt from me.

I am a daddy!

my daughter was born at 9:05am tuesday morning.

she's a skinny little thing, 7 pounds 5 ounces, with a shock of black hair, her father's chin, her mother's eyes, and a fetish for sucking on fingertips that neither of us recognize in ourselves.

i'll post pictures when i have them up somewhere ... meanwhile, foxy and i are trying to catch as much sleep as possible, which is precious little sleep at all.

I'm concerned about the possible implications of that statement, too, Seeker. I really don't think that American culture is 'the way' but at the same time, I'm also for anything that helps alleviate some of the trials and burdens women and children, especially, experience. My question is what is the track record of the Peace Corps? I've always thought that they were more about helping than turning other societies into little Americas. Am I naive in this? Does anyone know? I could do some research on it I suppose, but it's easier to ask you all

I'm Becoming a Hypnotherapist!

i have always been into self-help, have several websites devoted to it ( http://www.empowerthespirit.com), and even wrote a book on it.. now i'm getting my board certified master of clinical hypnotherapy certification, and i'm excited!

i went to a hypnotherapist in the past, and found it helpful.

i started looking in to it last week and found an excellent place to get my certification, http://www.hypnosiseducation.com/.. now, you are not going to believe this!

Gosford Park

this was a surprisingly good movie.

but i couldn't understand some of the lines because of the british accent.

it was witty, intriguing, mysterious, and excellent ending.. i think i'll rent it on video next year and turn on the closed captioning to get all the nuances.. i would give it 4 outta 4 stars.. pat
