  i was expecting you, but not so early in the day.. i saw you walk up to my neighbor fred's house last week while i was out getting the newspaper, once again tossed into the bushes by a careless newspaper boy.

  today, it's the usual routine of rising at dawn, fetching the paper from the bushes -- where else?

  -- and settling into my comfy, tattered wing back with the first of several cups of coffee.

  i've got into a bit of a rut visiting the same half dozen or so sites most of the time.

  i'd love to hear your suggestions for good sites featuring popular science (esp' astronomy and evolutionary biology), natural history, poetry and english literature.

  and anything fun and surprising you might like to spring on me would be welcome too!

  OrphanCrow, yes my garden is very dark with very little light pollution. When I first saw the ISS I couldn't believe how bright it is and how fast it moves.

  my grandpa died recently, for a reason i told my jw friends about it.

  and they literally didn't say anything about it at moved on to another subject like nothing happened.

  Yes there are some JWs on here but there are many people who used to be JWs but who have left the religion after researching it.
