if the witnesses have the truth and have been going to meetings for many years and every week they learn how to be effective in the ministry and learn about the bible on sundays and every week have a family worship night, why are they afraid to talk to anyone who doesn't agree with them or question their beliefs?

They can't listen to anyone's ideas because everyone in the 'world' is in the grip of Satan who is trying to deceive and destroy them. Even people who seem genuine are like their father the Devil who can turn himself into an angel of light.

i used to be able to get all of them when the site first changed.
Stillin you tap the URL and 'copy' should come up or else 'select all' first and then tap it again to get 'copy' to come up. Then tap in the have your say box on JWN and 'paste' should come up which you just tap to produce your link.
I can't post a picture on my iPad either, I have to go on my desk top for that.

there's this elder in my hall.
in his comments and talks, he loves to include the kind of details that would leave listeners wondering who his comment/talk is about.
he seems to see himself as a jw behaviour expert and drops titbits whenever he's behind the mic.
Isn't it strange that when it suits them they can let slip all sorts of personal insider details that they really shouldn't be talking about, that were probably told to them in confidence and people could probably be recognised from if given a little thought.
Ask them to warn the congregation of the presence of a paedophile so that children can be protected and all of a sudden they cannot breach confidentiality.

so, it seems the hall i used to attend before my latest one got to hearing that i "disappeared".
so today, i went to the post office to pick up a package.... i decided to try to face reality and open it... what i found were multiple letters and wrapped gifts.
Sorry I know this is rough Garrett. When you think about it this is so weird. If you moved away from a small town and you received a box of letters and gifts from everyone you would think how strange. How did they all get together to write to me? This is just so organised isn't it?
So what is the motive here. Why have they organised this? It's a cult love-bombing strategy possibly motivated by a CO visit guilt fest. Well done not falling for it but I do sympathise, it is hard when they used to be your friends. They are lost I'm afraid, it's very sad.
