  Everything is going bad.

  i just went up to see my friend who was in a care center.

  i went in his room and he was dead, i had to call the nurse who said she was with him 15 minutes before.

  i was in walmart the day before and saw an old school mate who's mother was a jw and he said he had cancer and had two years to live according to the doctor.

  well.....i am now officially on the precipice of divorce.

  it started last tuesday night.

  my wife brings the kids home at 10:00 pm after the meeting....then dinner....then ice cream.

  i'm sure many of you have been wondering why the wts has stuck to it's adamant viewpoint of higher education.

  let's settle it once and for all.

  this will prove conclusively why it's in young people's best interests to avoid higher education.. candace conti has inspired hundreds, perhaps thousands of young girls across america to successfully take on the wts.

  I dont know if anyone will bother to dignify this with counterarguments.

  All I want to say is: one in 3 women gets abused or raped in her lifetime, which means its awfully likely to happen to someone you love. When it does, youll change your tune.

  not at all.. i tried to kill myself 3 times.

  i was 14, nobody likes me at school, my weight was a problem, i tought that god wasn't there for me, my life had no sense.

  at 15-16 i decided it was enough.

  You deserve to be loved and have a partner to share your life with who accepts you.

  You dont have to torture yourself. You can have a good, loving life, with a husband and children.

  Yes it may damage your relationship with your parents but if they really love you they will be able to support you.

  Please dont try to destroy or deny your sexuality or feel so guilty.

  To love and be loved is beautiful.

  last night i had this dream: i was walking through a beautiful garden.

  i came upon a statuary image of christ.

  it was in a shaded alcove surrounded by a beautiful trellis entwined with wild vines of flowering bougainvillea.

  At what age do people 'wake up'?

  i was thinking about this question recently after being at the meeting when new pioneers were announced for the 2013 service year.. we have a dozen or so pioneers in the congregation, and most are in their 20's.

  some absolutely love the things they are taught and can't wait to spread the good news.. others in the congregation are going through the motions, tired of hearing the same old same old but have no way to change things now.

  then there are a couple like me.

  Yurts - Relatively Safe Housing for Earthquake-Prone Areas???

  i've always had a fascination for yurts... and i've been wondering - wouldn't these make wonderful homes for earthquake-prone areas with a relatively mild climate?.
