Dan Rather on Dave Letterman last night
by Tallyman inwatching the david letterman "late show" last night was very touching.. dave had on as his main guest, dan rather, cbs newsman and anchor.
of the cbs evening news.. now, this man, rather, is supposed to be a hardened journalist,.
whose job is to report the news objectively and hide emotions/opinion.. he has seen a lot in his long career as a journalist.. he broke down in tears last night twice while dave was interviewing .

by Englishman inseeing all these different people on this board, together with varying personalities, thoughts and opinions, makes me wonder about our reading and viewing material.. take the daily news.
if you watch tv, which news programme do you spend most time viewing and why?
the same question as to which daily newspaper you read, plus, does your newspaper have a political bias that attracts you?

As a canadian i can tell you that there is a simple code that you must apply to statements by our primeminister. To whatever he says, asume the opposite. His yes means no, his no means yes. Simple eh?

How do you know when it's time to let go?
by Esmeralda ina warning up front: this is a long post.. i'm posting this as a sincere question to those who have (more or less) moved on from the jw chapter of their lives and gone on to try to be, (dare i use the word,) 'normal'?.
everyone has had their 'awakenings' in the past six days, since all of those precious lives were snuffed out in senseless acts of violence.

this rebuttal is not intended as any negative response to saintsatan.
i think he did a good thing to post an important point of view, a view that needs consideration to balance out the actioins of political leaders everywhere.

My aim was to enlighten those who were mystified as to why anyone would have anger for americans. Unfortunately, i gave the impression of blaming the american people, which i did not mean to do. I wanted to give the opportunity to those who were able, to go through a door and see the other side.
