  Apostates are DEMONIZED !

  the other day an elder expressed concern for the "growing number of apostates on the world wide web" and said "apostates are "demonized"!.

  If jws become apostates because of demonization, a simple solution would be for sprit appointed elders to expell the demons like jesus did. The solution is clear.

  most of us now laugh at the witnesses, but i think compared to some others they are quite reasonable ( notice i said compared).. so which religion has the most crazy beliefs.. i dont have much knowledge of these religions but i'll mention what i know , feel free to add your own points or correct me if i'm wrong.. i'll start with.. mormons,.

  believe jews migrated to america.and that we are angels on earth being tested.. monnies,.

  believe rev moon is jesus on earth.they also use (missuse) quatum physics to prove their beliefs.. scientology,.

  Hubbard also said, at about the same time, that he wanted to make money. I think the pricing for the different courses proves that. He was rired of being a poor sf writer. The same thing w a religion label on it sells much better. Of course he was right, anybody can start their own religion.

  The Pope...

  ... well, in addition to condoms being bad, now the pope says lawyers who work on divorce cases are doing something bad.. poor old guy; he should retire, but he really believes and will likely die in harness or become so decrepit that he is no longer capable and will be replaced.. however, at least jw's don't corner the market in saying stupid things!.

  I have a freind who went through a bad split w his wife. There was a kid involved. He didn't eat or sleep for a few days at one point. I guess he was old fashioned. Anyway, later on he went for some kind of therapy that was sponsored by the catholic church. He said the old nun running it, and giving him advise was amazing. She really knew how to help. My freind is a moslem from iran.

  Why I think the Borg will have another enemy soon.

  there is that old story i'm reminded of sometimes about the world being full of three types of people.

  the people who make things happen, the people who watch things happen, and the people who have no idea of what is going on.

  i thought you might want to at least be in the second catagory so i wanted to share something i found interesting with you.. i have two short poems and a short story for you to read below, and if you care to read these you might find something quite remarkable about them.. long years have passed.

  Just to ad some possibilities. Maybe a future supersmart computer could have its program slightly tweaked to give it a primary objective other than its self interest, for instance the service of the huaman species. Once this was done, which will probably be built in from the beginning, then serving a specific group of humans could follow, perhaps even a concept or ideal. Corporate profits or corporate well being could be some prime objectives, or even nationalist interests.

  i feel evolution is still happening to man not so observable.

  in his physical appearance but very outstandingly in the brain.. here's an observation of mine, and others: first let me quote amazing records strongly suggest that civilization goes back over 10,000 years.

  You mean starting w the primal hydrogen atom, or the plasma state? That is an interesting idea. What if there is/was a very low level of consciousness in those elements? To illustrate: step consciousness down, backwards from the human level to for instance animal, bacteria, plant, virus, mycoplasma, protein, molecule, atom, electron and so on. Could there be an erg of intent at that level or at an even lower level?

  If i could put in a word here...
  I think what achristian is referring to is that couples who are well off and better educated have fewer children than poor uneducated couples/women. In third world countries this can be seen more clearly.
