  in today's watchtower it basically said don't expect any results due to widespread apathy and opposition.

  but you can still bear fruit just by going through the motions of being regular in field service.

  set in a jehovah's witness community in england, the film's strength and power lies in its directness.. apostasy depicts the growing rift in a family — a mother and two daughters — who are rigorously devoted to their religion.

  I just finished watching the movie. The portrayal of the jw life is real. I love the way the movie had a sad, gloomy atmosphere. jw life is sad and depressing, and is not the #bestlifeever. However, for me this film is a 6.5/10. I wished there would have been more action, drama, or information that really dealt with apostasy. Overall, I feel this movie is best for those who don't know anything about the borg. Personally, I enjoyed Confessions of A Teenage Jesus Jerk more than this film.

  Side note: You can rent it for $0.99 on Vudu if you are a first time customer, which I did.

  I plan on having a name tag with the words PIMO when I go to my convention in September. When that date comes, I'm going to remind people who may come on this site or reddit that I'll be wearing that. If people ask, I'll simply say it means Pray Intently, Meditate Occasionally. If I happen to run into a fellow PIMO, the fellow PIMO should reply back with "Tight Pants Tony" or some other expression only those awakened would know.

  Review: 2018 "Be Courageous!" convention

  friday and saturday were for the most part pretty light, not too culty or doctinal, could easily suck in the unsuspecting.

  there were a couple of hypocritical lines that i took note of however.

  at one point the speaker said, "if your boss fires everyone who disagrees with him but promotes everyone who agrees with him, you might be tempted to agree with him just to keep your job.

  I really hope the audience realizes that 1.) the borg changed the story of Jonah by adding a sister and giving her some significant role in the movie. And 2.) The borg changed the way how Armageddon will happen. I'm sure there has to be some folks who are starting to think critically about these things.

  at a local meeting, one of the elders said that if jesus were on the earth today 'you can be sure' he would be preaching by showing videos on a tablet.. i kid you not.. i wonder what videos he'd be playing?.

  obviously this was the elder's own pet theory.

  I'm going to guess he also thinks Jesus would have a shaved beard, be wearing his jw.borg pins, jw.borg tie, jw.borg suit and wear a rolex. Man, so many crazy people in the borg, it's like they drank too much from the koolaid and their heart pumps nothing but it.

  has anyone else seen the movie "confessions of a teenage jesus jerk"?.

  im still processing it, and trying to work out my thoughts..... i would be interested in others thoughts..

  My thoughts on the movie: It surprised me a bit. I came in watching the movie with the expectation that it might be off or inaccurate. However, I'm glad that they got a lot of things right in the movie. For me still a PIMO in the borg, this movie was a chicken soup for my soul. I could relate to many of the characters and the situations displayed. The ending was powerful. I agree with dubstepped on how Gabe wanted to escape reality, and there was no escaping this time. But was stuck to me was the screaming "Wake up" during that scene. If those who are in or sitting on the fence see this movie, no doubt that message will reach them.

  I hope I can get my family to see this movie, as well as Apostasy someday.
