Circuit Overseer's Idiotic Comment
by FedUpJW inat last night's clam the circuit overseer made this comment, "we elders sometimes have to act as judges in the congregation.
but we (the elders) are imperfect, and so cannot know everything about judicial matters.
that is why we (the elders) have the biblical rule that there must be at least two witnesses to wrongdoing.

JW's are not known for logic and reasoning ability. The best is when they contradict themselves in a public talk and everyone keeps nodding their heads like robots but then the "weaker" brothers in the back standing around are like, "WTF?" -

UC Berkeley orders cancellation of Ann Coulter speech
by freemindfade inuc berkeley administrators canceled a scheduled speech by right-wing pundit ann coulter, saying they can’t protect participants from rioting if it goes ahead.
http://www.sfgate.com/bayarea/article/uc-berkeley-orders-cancellation-of-ann-coulter-11084299.php.
now i am no ann coulter fan (although the sjw police on here will accuse me of being a fan shortly after posting this), but i am a fan of free speech!

surely we agree that the violent demonstrations at Berkley had alt-right participation.

1- You have no clue WTF you are talking about. Seriously, it's embarrassing for you. The "alt-right" is simply the latest boogey man the left can blame for whatever purpose they need. It's like the Democrats digging up the "KKK" around election time to smear [insert any Republican], as if there's millions of backwoods redneck KKK running around the country ready to kill everyone not white. How absurd, but it worked because so many dumbasses fell for that one. If you listen to CNN you would think Trump has a direct phone line to the KKK! LOL
2- You have NO clue what 4chan represents, how it operates and who is there behind the scenes, which is totally fine with all of us but enjoy reading the troll threads. I can guarantee that you can't access where the real party happens. But I'll tell you this: overall the movement is against racists, bigots, homophobia, anti-Semetic and very tolerant. Wow, how wudda thunk it? But please, make sure to pick up your $5 cardsharp Antifa credit card knife so you can fend off a real life KKK when you join the protests LOL
PS I am NOT a Republican so you can put that to rest. Have a nice day.

No atheist could possible hope to win an election in today's political climate, BUT.....
by James Mixon innot taxing churches is taking as estimated $71 billion from our economy every year.
watching one of the late night talk show and the host mention how much dough we could have to help the poor if the churches were taxed.
i check to see and i b-damn, mormon church spends 7% of its annual income on charity, the average for churches are 29% to help the poor.

Full disclosure: I'm an atheist.
With that said, religion plays a very important role in keeping the masses in check. I don't agree with Karl Marx on most things but he was correct when he said, "religion is the opium of the people." Not everyone can deal with the full consequences of not having a "God" to save you or the threat of heaven or hell to give you reason to be "good."
A lot of religious people say to me, "if you are an atheist, you have no reason to be good & where do you get your morals from?" I don't think I need to say anything further, see above.

u can speak against Christ but not the GB
by Damascus inso i am in trouble for questioning the whole rats nest of deceit and lies.
in matthew 12 jesus says: whoever speaks a word against the son of man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the holy spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the one to come.
" the gb seems to replace 'holy spirit' with themselves.

Threads like this is why I come to this site! Thank you OP.
BTW, everyone should ask themselves, what is the actual meaning of the two baptism questions they ask? When you take the time to actually see it in writing, it's amazing. Conclusion, it's a cult.

Re-read Animal Farm.
by The Rebel ini was one of many witness children, who studied this book in english literature class.. having re-read it as an adult it addressed so many issues i have with the organisation.
including maniputive control, the re-writing of history etc etc.
so many of the characters in the book, resembled characters i have known in the organisation.. boxer- loyalty without questioning.. squeler- a character who doesn't care about truth, and uses rhetoric of language to twist truth.. clover-who silently questions decisions, but stays loyal.. if your young, or old i would suggest reading this small book, by george orwell.

Speaking of George Orwell....
Does anyone want to see exactly what George Orwell was warning about?
Google Rewrites Its Powerful Search Rankings to Bury Fake News
The Alphabet Inc. company is making a rare, sweeping change to the algorithm behind its powerful search engine to demote misleading, false and offensive articles online. Google is also setting new rules encouraging its “raters” -- the 10,000-plus staff that assess search results -- to flag web pages that host hoaxes, conspiracy theories and what the company calls “low-quality” content.
I hope everyone understands why this is a very slippery slope and very, very dangerous. Of course, we all hate fake news (other than CNN) but fortunately, we are all smart enough to spot the fake news almost immediately and I personally never post anything unless I can verify the info myself with other searches.
The question is, who gets to say what is a "conspiracy theory" or what is "offensive" or not? What if the staffers that work at Google have a very liberal ideology (many do) and flag more conservative websites as "offensive?" The same problem exists for those who want to attack free speech simply because they do not agree with it. I loved Goog's algos for image searches, program codes, etc, but I have already begun to use Turboscout and Metasearch which searches multiple engines at once and like asking different doctors for their opinions, you will find the searches vary greatly.

Glad she is speaking out, she is, however, a conservative if I am not mistaken.

It's the website that's quoting her - Huffington Post - that counts.

Can someone please tell me what is going on? Is the level of sarcasm so great that it seems to have flown above my head? The Canadian MP is a conservative woman who is outraged over this tragedy, not a liberal or feminist.

The JW cult leaders have made some massive changes to the entire legal structure of the organization exactly for this reason. I heard they hired one of the most expensive and prestigious law firms in all of England a few years back to reorganize everything for them, to protect them from future lawsuits. One of the biggest changes of course was the name change of the "Ministry School" to the "Christian Life and Ministry" simply based on the word "School" which implies underage children could be present and the weight of the responsibility would then rest on the parents if anything happens to their children instead of the WT cult.
Do you people see how disgusting and devious they are? Do you think Jehovah would REALLY be using them?
It should be very obvious.

Haha that is funny! Fortunately for me, since I started waking up, I did a lot of things in secret that would have gotten me disfellowshipped if I admitted them so I guess I'll "leave it in Jehovah's hands" to expose me. LOL
Here's something funny to talk about - you can now have oral sex in private (if you're married LOL) but if you talk about it with others in the congregation then you could be dis-fellowshipped.
