  Two coins of little value? Ok! Sure (!)

  last thursday meeting was the verbal begging bowl item.

  in which having told the audience that wt doesn't ask for money... proceeded to then ask for money.. among the usual scriptures cited "honor god with your valuable things" etc was also the widows mite story "she dropped in two coins of little value..".

  and it occurred to me, two coins of little value in the uk would be two one penny coins!

  I feel like making a copy of the elder's program and putting a copy under the windshield wipers of all of the cars at the next meeting.

  HAHAHAHA. I did that very thing last night. The difference being that I only put the "elders" programs along with a hi-lited copy of the letter saying NOT to give the information to the MS's under each of the MS's vehicle wiper blades.

  Wt's long term time speculations.

  last week's wt study, sept. 25 - oct, 1 , contains a wording often repeated in old publications, that is at variance with the bible's reading , (no surprise here), wherein wt writers have consistently insisted that the universal sovereignty issue will be settled by,- or at the end of the 1000 year reign.

  this erroneous rendering of the events following satan's release after the millennium is again used in par.

  "--it will not be until the end of his thousand year reign that all his enemies will be completely destroyed.." .

  To be followed at some point in time as revealed by Nulite in the scrolls yet to be opened by a fourth "Armageddon"...and a fifth...and a...well we all get the point.

  but shortly thereafter when everyone's feeling good about themselves expect the hammer to come down during a morning worship broadcast..

  It will be interesting to see if they use the occasion to grumble about whatever their latest peeve is, or if they, maybe, possibly, try to be "encouraging".

  Just think, at that rate Armageddon only needs to wipe out 7,494,999,941 more people than were killed in Las Vegas. I wonder what the response would be if someone were hit with that figure when they spout off about how much "we" need the Big A to happen..."soon"?

  there were times when you were sick or definitely under the weather or perhaps you were exhausted physically and or mentally, and you were still required to go to the meetings!

  even during inclement weather you had to go.

  And meetings...you'd have all these flu ridden diehards there spewing their germs all over the place when they belonged home in bed.

  On the bright side though...that gave US the perfect opportunity to show how "spiritual" WE were by then coming the next week hacking, sneezing, and blowing snot and spit flecks all over THEM!

  circuit overseer's demanded that we still make a meeting even if the weather was treacherous!

  Oh ye of little faith...don't you know that if you go out on roads, even if the government has decreed NO TRAVEL that if you are in a wreck it is only material property? At least you will still have your life in order to continue doing more in field service. And if you die...well there is always that promised resurrection..."soon"...
