Three or four years?
So much for "soon"!

as the leaked financial meetings show, watchtower (by it's own admission) has to liquidate 3000+ properties quickly.
how do they choose?
Three or four years?
So much for "soon"!
friday and saturday were for the most part pretty light, not too culty or doctinal, could easily suck in the unsuspecting.
there were a couple of hypocritical lines that i took note of however.
at one point the speaker said, "if your boss fires everyone who disagrees with him but promotes everyone who agrees with him, you might be tempted to agree with him just to keep your job.
Another illustration I heard was about a child on a playground being bullied. As he is being bullied his father comes up behind the bully and stands there. The boy is so encouraged knowing his father is there. I thought what an asshole father...just f--king stand there and let his child be bullied and not do a damned thing about it! Or worse yet, let the bully kill his child, just so everyone would know how much the child loved the impotent father! Idiots on parade on the stage!
i asked this question to a relative after mentioning several situations where teachings were changed or readjusted (new light) and they have two reasons.
yes, they are correct because look at how the preaching work has grown through the decades and the advancements in witnessing and the second reason was the doctrine of the trinity and how the society opposes that.
i didn’t really have a response, especially for the trinity doctrine.. does the governing body have the rejection of the trinity belief correct?.
Has the Governing Body ever been right?
Oh HELL YES!
Not so long ago the WT said the governing body could error in doctrine...at least they got THAT right!
my mil came by to drop some pressure on my wife to go to the three day this weekend.
she told her that she wants our baby to live forever and that she wants us to come back.
apparently people would be “so happy” to see us return to the fold.
One of three congs. in my local area was dissolved this last CO inspection week.
Love the growth.
since we were jws at one time, has it influenced your view as to where your dead loved ones are now?
i know many here do not believe in anything biblical but i’m curious as to whether you believe anyone is in heaven?
?.
No such thing as "heaven" and no such thing as "hell". We did not exist before we were born and will not exist after we die. So, where do I think loved ones are? In the box on the mantle.
this afternoon, i had a vision.
one of the past, present and future.. .
over the past two decades, i recall one distinct, universal phrase being uttered by older jehovah's witnesses on many different occasions:.
Three generations of JDubs who thought they would not die are dead and the current believers will also die.
Shouldn't that be ONE lonnNngg overlapping generation? LOL

Couldn't watch more than a half a dozen minutes of the first link.
Haven't those self-proclaimed providers of "truth" ever heard of file compression, or Win Zip or similar programs? And you just have to appreciate the WT solution...lower quality files! Of course it didn't take that goomer long to trot out the "use of dedicated fund" B.S., did it?
let’s start with the good news for the congregation that is.
two new sisters were added to the group a mother and her daughter.
then the bad news.
Tell us what’s going on in your congregation.
Over about fifteen years time congregation size has "grown" from 95-100 average members to a whopping 30-33 members. I just cannot believe the wonderful growth!
they are still burying the children in santa fe, texas.
and it happened again today in indiana.
no one killed but some injured.
why are so many youth flipping out and gunning down fellow students?
is there something seriously wrong with society?
does the public education/indoctrination system need some serious tweaking?
In the United States the biggest reason for firearm violence in schools is, IMO, The Gun-Free School Zones Act (GFSZA)...an act of the U.S. Congress prohibiting any unauthorized individual from knowingly possessing a loaded or unsecured firearm at a place that the individual knows, or has reasonable cause to believe, is a school zone as defined by 18 U.S.C. § 921(a)(25).
If YOU were hell-bent on committing a firearm crime wouldn't YOU want to go where there was the LEAST chance of someone taking YOU out?
