At the end, he frankly told the HQ rep who'd invited him that if things were being run that way at a secular business, heads would roll (paraphrasing, but that's the gist).
When still alive my father who had been used at every level of the Borg made the comment, "If any secular business kept financial records the same way the WT does they would be in jail!" Sounds like my dad wasn't a loan candle in the wind saying that.

by neat blue dog infriday and saturday were for the most part pretty light, not too culty or doctinal, could easily suck in the unsuspecting.
there were a couple of hypocritical lines that i took note of however.
at one point the speaker said, "if your boss fires everyone who disagrees with him but promotes everyone who agrees with him, you might be tempted to agree with him just to keep your job.

Another illustration I heard was about a child on a playground being bullied. As he is being bullied his father comes up behind the bully and stands there. The boy is so encouraged knowing his father is there. I thought what an asshole father...just f--king stand there and let his child be bullied and not do a damned thing about it! Or worse yet, let the bully kill his child, just so everyone would know how much the child loved the impotent father! Idiots on parade on the stage!

Has the Governing Body ever been right?
by Jules Saturn ini asked this question to a relative after mentioning several situations where teachings were changed or readjusted (new light) and they have two reasons.
yes, they are correct because look at how the preaching work has grown through the decades and the advancements in witnessing and the second reason was the doctrine of the trinity and how the society opposes that.
i didn’t really have a response, especially for the trinity doctrine.. does the governing body have the rejection of the trinity belief correct?.
