not with disdain, we are told but as lost sheep “still our brothers “ it is said that god loves them and they too must do what they can to help them.. why have we strayed ?

While I agree and like your comment, I do not entirely believe we have "lost" our rights. There is a pretty big divide between "lost" and "given up". There have been too many who were, and still are, willing to accept government guidelines as law, and allow even the most useless mandates for the placebo feeling of safety, and to virtue signal that they are somehow more compassionate to retain the rights that were given up.
If one does not understand what I am saying there is no explanation possible, and for those who do no explanation is needed.

That would be correct, IF they would actually let everyone hear everyone else singing like the "old days" at the KH. Where I am they mute everyone, so all you see is a bunch of mouths moving and only hear the goddawful song.

I sent an email to the secretary specifically stating NOT IN FAVOR. Good Lord, you would have thought that it was the end of the world judging by the s--t that hit the fan. I was only too willing to state the reasons why I was not in favor of increasing the financial load on now unemployed R&F thanks to COVID-19. No new building, no remodels, no CO's traveling. Oh, but the CO's still have expenses said the elder. I replied with a WT quote that the FIRST responsibility for financial help was family, then gubmint programs, then finally the congregation IF the other resources had been tried and exhausted. Greedy bas---ds!

i keep hearing all of the things about "essential" people in this convid-19 virus thing.. well, i woke up this morning, did my morning poop, and just felt like i am essential.

Agreed. There is a big difference between dying WITH the virus anti-bodies, and dying FROM the virus. Strange though how even doctors that try to say that are being censured, fired, threatened with license revocation, and discredited.
