Memorial Prep question

so are individual witnesses being told to prepare bread and have wine on hand for the zoom memorial?

are they saying it’s “vital” or is it just a “suggestion?” .

If they know that, why on earth would they buy something they will never use.

Because the uber-dubs for some insane reason believe that you must touch the glass and plate. Before I started my fade I remember the congregation where I was the "servers" would pass the glasses and plates, then one would hand the glass or plate to the speaker who would promptly hand it back, then the servers would all sit down in the front row and the speaker would leave the platform to hand the glass and plate to the first server so they could touch it as they passed it and then the speaker would take it back to the table. The last time I heard anything about their new Zoomorial they are pretty insistent that to be an approved viewing one must also have wine and crackers in front of them so everyone can see that they have them.

after you read the words of jesus in mark 2: 17, you will see that the contrast between the teachings of jesus and the governing body.. .

you clearly read what's written in the bible, but the society is always twisting and bending scriptures to their benefit.

If we spend a lot of time with that person, we will probably catch the same sickness.

And THAT is why I listen to those few words of Rubber Face and why I have severely curtailed any association with any JW. I have found them to be spiritually sick, if not dead; and I certainly do not want to catch their fatal illness.

Did The Witnesses Mess Up Your Sex Life?

most of the witnesses i knew never really talked about sex.

whatever couples did was pretty much kept quiet.

every once in a while a wife might complain to the elders or a friend that the husband is too demanding or even immoral because of the sex practices the husband wanted.

Oh HELL YES!

There was a saying when I was in my late teens/early twenties (not subscribed to by myself) that when it came to sex it was only permitted "On Thursday night, after 10:00 P.M., with the lights off, and using no hands...anywhere, no deep kissing, no oral, and ONLY in the missionary position."

The only good sex I ever had was when I quit following the repressed orders of the JW's and began enjoying what is a natural need of life outside the JW religion.

Will Governor Cuomo be the Next President?

trying to put politics aside (even though that won't really work), but ny governor andrew cuomo is blowing the other politicians out out the water (orange man [trump] and the lizard [biden]).. i don't know if cuomo has a usb port in the back of his head plugged into a hard drive but the guy speaks, analyzes and talks coherently.

the orange man always passes difficult questions to someone else.

the lizard can't comprehend what the question is but tries to answer something.. cuomo comes out with facts, analysis and direction on what needs to be done.

i have had many insensitive things said to me by some elders, but for some reason one self-righteous elder was always on my case.

he didn't like the fact that i missed meetings, didn't like that i never went out in field service, that i didn't answer at the weekly meetings and he didn't like that i carried my books and magazines in my hands and not a service/book bag.

Not something that happened to me, it happened to my dear mother several decades ago.

She was in the back seat of an eldurrs vehicle in field serve us. He turned in the drivers seat to see my mother who was behind his wife and asked, "------ do you know what an apostate looks like?" When she replied in the negative he told his female dog of a wife to hand my mother a mirror so she could tell the car group what she saw in it.

I did not know about this until shortly before she died, and that jack-ass was already dead. Otherwise I do believe he and I would have both been taken to the hospital. He, to get my boot removed from his rectum, and me to get it back!

Do You Support The Death Penalty ?

Every time an innocent person is proven beyond a doubt that they were wrongly executed, the government should pick a name of a death penalty supporter at random and execute that person.

Now there is an idea I could get behind, on one condition.

Make a detailed list of every single person who does NOT support the death penalty, and every time a killer kills again, inside or out of prison, pick a name of one of the bleeding hearts who does not support the death penalty and execute one of them alongside the convicted killer.

I support it. My only issue with it is that it is not carried out quick enough.

I my general area of the U.S. a pervert (can we still call them that yet?) raped a 9 year old girl multiple times before strangling and mutilating her body, then dumped the body in a shallow ditch miles from any town. It was several months before her body was finally found. After over twenty years of three hots and a cot, courtesy of the taxpayers he was finally executed. In my opinion that was twenty years too long. He should never have seen another sunrise after sentencing!

In fact in cases like that I would gladly serve as executioner.

Prove That Jehovah’s Witnesses Do Not Have The “Truth”

What happens here is that as devoted members you are forced to replicate the sins of those men by upholding the doctrines of which they make, even though they dont fall inline from the bible itself.

The Governing Body is neither inspired nor infallible. Therefore, it can err in doctrinal matters or in organizational direction.

So when they "err" in doctrine, and one is forced under penalty of shunning to swear to the truth of the "err" (lie), just as Rocketman123 stated, they become sharers in the sins of the governing body.

I remember several times when someone would really get "the spirit" and start praising the governing body I would ask them if it would make a person apostate to deny what the governing body stated as Biblical truth? Of course their answers were always affirmative. Then I would ask them which group of JW's were apostates for denying what was truth about Romans 13: 1? Was it the late 19th early 20th century JW's who claimed the 'superior authorities' were governments, or the mid 20th century JW's who swore it was Jehovah and Jesus, or the later 20th century JW's who said it was the government authorities? And then I ask if by their own words, in writing, the government body say they err, why should anyone place unwavering belief in what they say?

There is no way for any truth to be a lie, and no way for a lie to be truth.

Where do JWs stand on sex toys?

i think we all know that if they are used alone it would be a no no, but what about in a marriage?

are there limits such as vibrators ok but torso with dildo not ok?.

Decades ago an eldurr told me that if a man's wife were disabled and could no longer engage in sexual relations and the husband masturbated that was a judicial offense if the eldurrs found out about it.

I would imagine there are still eldurrs out there that would be just as idiotic in rushing to judgement if they got wind of even a married couple using any sex toys in their intimate times. They likely would claim that sex toys are only used by homosexuals and lesbians ala Moronic Morris manner of "reasoning".

Agreed! WT claims that it is the victims fault that they were hurt. Does WT follow the words of Jesus? Jesus said, "It is unavoidable that causes for stumbling should come. Nevertheless, woe to the one through whom they come! 2 It would be of more advantage to him if a millstone were suspended from his neck and he were thrown into the sea than for him to stumble one of these little ones."

Once again WT by their own words proves they are false to Jesus words and example!
