  so, in a couple weeks, the jws move on in their bible-reading slog to the book of deuteronomy.. take a gander at deuteronomy 23:12,13:.

  a private place should be designated for use outside the camp, and there is where you should go.

  13 a peg should be part of your equipment.

  Chinese Rocket Falling to Earth

  as if the chinese haven't already done enough to the world recently, they have now let a 22 ton rocket go out of control and start falling to earth.

  it's going 18,000 miles an hour and no one knows where it's going to hit but if it isn't water then it might leave a scuff mark.. the good news it is shouldn't be canada, as we're too far north.. the bad news is, well ... are you in canada or the same latitude or more north?.

  chances are it will hit the pacific, but it's 2021 and the way things are going it could hit a major population area.. if it does hit anywhere with lots of people, i hope it twats the shit out of beijing..

  three of my sisters - there are five of us - were baptized as witnesses.

  one of them has gone from reading voraciously to only reading her textbooks and watchtower publications.

  this does not seem to be unusual among witnesses.

  Also, I notice that many Witnesses have poor grammar.

  I have noticed that also. I mentioned it in passing to an elder some years ago and the reply I got was, "Well, we don't want to give the appearance of being over educated or overly precise. It may offend someone new who does not have a good education and keep them from becoming one of Jehovah's Witnesses."

  My only thought now is that he must have been running ahead of Jehovah's chariot and the organization who now seem to rush to dumb things down to the lowest common denominator.

  I admit I have not read all comments. That said, a synonym of systemic is inherent. So systemic racism would be inherent racism. Those who claim that people of light complexion are inherently racist against dark skinned people are just plain wrong. NO ONE is inherently racist! I do admit I am getting more and more prejudiced against certain races simply because of the way they act. I do not see a lot of so called White people burning down businesses, looting buisnesses for things that have nothing to do with "poverty", attacking and beating police (some even dying from the injuries) and then perpetually whining about how misunderstood and mistreated they are.

  Several decades ago I worked with a Black man. We got along quite well. He was from the deep south of the U.S. He told me that when he grew up there were three kinds of people of African descent. The Blacks whom he said were productive, hard working, family oriented people. The coloreds who were pretty well on the same level as what would be termed poor White trash, trailer trash etc. And the nigger who was a lazy, welfare leech and bred indiscriminately and both the coloreds and the Blacks hated them. Now who was racist against those poor third class POC?

  I have had a belly full of POC, as the lefties love to call them, blaming everything that goes wrong in their lives on some unknown, unseen White person! It is time for them to pull themselves up of the floor and move on! And enough of the riots, and the violence. That only serves to inflame a (justified) reaction.

  Are people in this forum really ok with this sort of tone ? 2021 and calling people ‘blacks’ and complaining about people of colour being on screen?

  Okay, I'll be your Huckleberry. What should we call them if not blacks? You did not like it when they were called, even by themselves, N---ers. You whine if they are called Negro. And the term "person of color" can also be used for Caucasians as they are WHITE, according to the PC crowd. And if they are a "person of color"...WHAT color? And I also do not like the idea of blacks being inserted into movies just because they are black and it fits the "woke" agenda. It is just as offensive to me and senseless as inserting QWERTY characters in movies and television strictly because they are "gay".
