“The Governing Body is neither inspired nor infallible.
They had to say that or they would have stepped in a huge, stinking, steaming pile of. . .well you know.
Therefore, it can err in doctrinal matters or in organizational
direction...
Notice, there is zero admission of error. They key word in this statement is CAN, not does. Can only denotes the possibility, not the certainty.
Of course, Jesus did not tell us that his faithful slave
would produce perfect spiritual food."
He shouldn't have had to say so. If Jesus is perfect, and if Jesus provides the food initially, then logically the food is perfect and the governing body as merely a middleman would provide what Jesus did. However if they err or if the food isn't perfect then either of only two options present themselves. Either Jesus and the food he initially provides are imperfect, or the middleman is not providing the food they are tasked with providing.
In any case the governing body is engaging in a blatant
case of CYA and is not generating any trust in anyone able to read
between the lines.
