No fun debating "imperfect" JWs

well that was no fun at all, just got a visit to invite me to the last supper memorial.

haven't had a call for a long long time.

i tried to engage them about following bible not watchtower, they just kept changing the subject as they have always done but this time every challenge was met with "we are not perfect,the slave is not perfect" and "we don't want to have a debate".

Lack of love & hypocrisy in the congregation started things for me.

This /\ /\ /\. As others have also experienced, the total and complete lack of any measure of genuine love. And the total complete display of hypocrisy.

Watching a rich "brother" screw around and divorce two Witness wives, embezzle money from his work place, chronic drunkenness, tax fraud, insurance fraud, and lying and each time getting a pass by contributing large amounts of $$$ to the local kingdom hall eventually even being promoted up the ladder to elder.

Watching elders kids getting promoted up the ladder while they did nothing to deserve it. Being told by an elder I was "reprehensible" because I had been married more than once and so would never be appointed (now I just don't give a damn) but they always seem to come crying to me when they need FREE mechanic work, electrical work, computer work, or any other labor they are too stupid to learn how to do or too lazy, and then criticize me for telling them "NO"! Being condamned for working full time and saving money for the future so I could store my current labor in the form of those savings for a later date and not have to work as hard, now being debt free and "retired" comfortably at an age when I can fully enjoy my time. Being hit up for money for every last kingdom hall project and broke witness who "needs" money, told the money I give reflects my love for God. I must not love God because I do not give anything to the JDubs any more.

These and so much more.

His real crime was exposing the crimes of others and that the ruling elites think they are above the law.

I predict it will not be long and it will be reported that he is suffering from some serious illness followed by a sudden death shortly before any meaningful court appearance. One does not cross the Clinton Crime Family and expect to not be the target of their murderous wrath. He has the dirt on them and will likely be another in a long line of Arkancide victims.

Why do some JWs love seeing others get disfellowshipped?

i'm not sure how many in the organization is like this, but there some jws who love seeing others get disfellowshipped, and my father-in-law is one of those.

he became a jw because he loved the idea of being the head of the household, and lording it over his family.

as a jw he is very hypocritical, my husband would tell stories of how they would celebrate christmas until his mother-in-law called him on it.

That's what I thought too. But I was informed that HE DID CARE! That's why he let that sh-t happen, so that he could "lovingly" provide the opportunity for his servants to prove their love for him and that come what may they would be "loyal" to the governing body, the only true mouth-pieces of Jehovah himself.

They must still have a MS who stocks the thing. What do they now call him? The cabinet servant?

Where I live they call them....sisters. Most of the men have pretty well told the eldumbs to stuff it, so now "sisters" run up and down the aisle with mics, stock the advertising kiosk, run the sound, pretty well everything except the "teaching" harangues b that the eldurrs still keep. Just had the circus oversneer go of shift on the congregation about men no longer being spiritual and chasing the appointment carrot.

Who is the better example in the congregation?

a married brother with multiple children turns in 10 hours of time per month.

a group of single brothers ranging in age from 13-16 turn in 10 hours per month.

the married brother works full-time.

It’s assumed 4 are being used for family worship, so the assumption is they are doing that, but only getting in 6 hours in the field ministry.

Many years ago my dad was booted off the body for getting "only" 5 hours per month in the "ministry". They deducted the 4 hours for family study, plus the 16 hours per month in weekly bible studies with persons in the "field". I only wish I could have completed helping him write the Borg out of his will before he suddenly died.

Agreed, they want MORE money. I just had to forward a mid six figure estate "donation" to those leeches. The letter I got back was a couple paragraphs stating how much money was needed for ALL THE KINGDOM HALLS that need to be built, and all the cost of translating publications. Then the final paragraph was short and to the point asking if there would be any more money that they would get!

Damned greedy bastards!!
