hey guys, i've been pimo going on full inactive for a very long time, 5+ years.

pretty happy with the current situation.

over the years, i've gotten lots of grief from the local elders and cos for my inactivity, attending wordly public events and social media posts.

Sometimes. I have posted elsewhere about a personal experience I had. I mentioned one time long ago that I wished to marry. I was told, "Don't get married. Just purchase the services of a hooker. When you get back home tell the elders you made a mistake in a moment of "weakness" and make a large $$$ contribution to the local congregation. You will get off."

The guy that said that was doing just that, and got away with it, was promoted through the ranks and is now an elder who is still a drunk, and messing around on his second wife.

They will mark you at the very least if they know about it before you are married. Once married they can't do anything about it but they will still want to meet with you and when they do, do not meet with them.

/\ /\ /\ This. /\ /\ /\ Stay under the radar as much as you can. Don't give them ammunition to use against you. Use the same advice you would receive about dealing with cops. KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT. I am not yelling, just stressing how important it is to never say anything to the eldurrs. Avoid the eldurrs like you would a highly contagious person with a terminal illness.

I noticed this on JW Leaks: On 5 November 2013, Watchtower Australia sent out a body of elders letter instructing all congregations to form as independent legal entities and charities and to register with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission << ACNC >>. By the end of the month over 800 congregations within Australia had become their own legal entity trading under the business name “[NAME] Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.” Under this legal arrangement congregation records, including judicial records and membership records, are the property of the individual charity and not CCJWA.

It appears that along with destroying records they are continuing to attempting to insulate the upper echelons from the actions of the local congregations and throwing the local elders under the bus by making the claim of ignorance about what goes on locally. Sorry bastards!

i was in full time service for six years including bethel.

once i got out of bethel, i figured i had already given them six of the best years of my life (ages 18-24) working as a slave/drone in their factory, so i rationalized that i had given them enough... so over the next 27 years i would say maybe $200 bucks is it.

i think their whole "voluntary contributions" idea is biting them in the ass, because over all jehovah's witnesses are a cheap group people with a few exceptions.

At one time, after coming into a sizable chunk of change when I retired early, I wrote a check to be specifically applied to the KH loan pay-off. That was just about the exact same time powers-that-be in Crooklyn wrote off closed end loans in favor of their "contributions" in perpetuity scheme. Of course the mid five figure sum of money quickly disappeared never to be mentioned again.

Just recently as executor of my fathers estate I was unable to shelter his sizable financial investment portfolio before he died, and as a result the greedy b--tards in New York received a nearly seven figure bequest. The only thing I got in return was a letter asking if they could expect more! May they rot in Hell for their greed!

Perhaps a brother has made mistakes in the past, and now he feels that he is not worthy of being a ministerial servant or an elder. Another brother might have feelings of inadequacy about fulfilling an assignment.

Or maybe instead of placing blame on the brother they should admit that nepotism and money are involved. If they want you in their boys club you will be admitted no matter what sins you practice or how inadequate you are. If they do not want you in their club, no matter how christian and righteous you are and no matter how qualified you are you will NEVER be admitted.

It is said there are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies and statistics. The quote above is from the news article. I believe the WT statement to qualify as a damned lie! They have zero respect for the judicial process, unless it is in their favor. And anyone who has had even the most "innocent" of dealings with a group of elders knows they have no respect for any individuals privacy.

They "decline to comment" because they are following the old maxim, "Don't speak when you can mumble. And don't mumble when you can remain silent. " They have nothing to say in their own defense that will stand the light of day.
