Though the constitution is a living document it must be adhered to. Anything other than that is unamerican.
Does that also include the lefts anti-American, mostly unconstitutional stance on the second amendment's guaranteed right to "bear arms"?
elections have been held per the us constitution during many difficult times; us civil war, ww i, ww ii, whatever.
i just put on the pro-trump fox news and even they are saying ... oooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.. this is really scary.
are we headed towards a dictatorship?

I guess the Repubs aren't CROOKED enough to do the same thing and "fix" their ballets too.
There. . .FIXED! BTW what does a dance have to do with voting?

What's stopping them from padding the mail-in total as much as the Dems?
The same thing that is stopping them from burning, looting and murdering people like the left does every time the left gets their panties in a wad. The people on the right are more prone to being law-abiding than those on the left.
look at the new york post online today and watch the videos of mayhem and destruction to the city with fires all over manhattan.
the police vehicles are being destroyed and torched and the rioting just goes on and on.. i regularly went to nyc sometimes once a month for years.
now, who on earth would want to go to this hellhole??.
@Wolverines
Followed your link. The only thing wrong with what I saw was the fellow in the vehicle. I was taught that you never point a weapon at something if you are not willing to pull the trigger, and you never pull the trigger unless you are willing to kill what you are aiming at. The guy in the vehicle made a hollow threat. He should have kept his pistol holstered, or shot the other guy. Half measures serve no purpose. IMO
Keep your powder dry, and your "tools" of protection well maintained. The need for them is getting more obvious every day.

What’s the solution? Give more support to people who have lost their jobs, and less money for wealthy business owners
Sounds good to me. After all, we all know that it is out of work people with no money that drive the economy, and not people who work, earn money, or invest it in growing businesses that EMPLOY people.
bottom line is this.
she came in from the weekly meeting, we sitting and talking and she said.
the society is giving us some food.
@ GTTM
Is there any "paper" trail proving WT is part of the program? The friend claimed that the branch told CO's to tell the elders to BUY the produce and divide it out and distribute. They even claimed that two elders spent hundreds of extra dollars of their own money buying meat.
A written verification of WT doing what we all know pretty well to be the case would be nice to show the sheeple.

Just potatoes, carrots, apples and onions.
I saw the bag a friend got. For their family it consisted of 1 onion, 2 apples, 2 small potatoes, and 1 cup of beans. I guess if some water, salt, pepper, a little stew meat, celery, some garlic, the potatoes, beans, and onion might make a passable stew. The friend did mention that they were reminded how loving Gee-HO'-Vuh was to provide the food through direction of the governing body, and that it was "training for the future GT when we will have to survive on only the bare minimum, and thanks could be shown by an online donation." i have a niece who is trying to get pregnant.
she was telling me her husband had to go to a room with porn in it and masturbate into a cup to get tested.
i never thought of this before but but how would a jw handle this.
Nope, looking at porn is a strict no-no. Jerking to porn, as an elder commented, is the same as adultery. You looked at the naked person with enough lust to get aroused and then climaxed. Time for the back-room inquisition. Of course when his own kid got caught sleeping with a "worldly" school friend it was no big deal because he "didn't climax. So it is only loose conduct, not fornication!".
Can't make that s--t up!
but one i remember was a full on dyed in the wool believer how was a farmer.
around 1975 he sold his farm moved his family to a very rural place and waited for the end to come.
he ended up working for his brother in law hanging drywall.
My dad also had another saying whenever someone would go off on the "throwing money in the streets" tangent. He would say, "Better it is to have it and throw it in the streets, than to not have it and live on the street dependent on the charity of others."

Was your dad a non-JW? That was good advice he gave to save for the future.
No. He actually had responsibilities from the local congregation right up to the old district level. He was what some had termed a "heavy hitter", however he also was a very intelligent practical man. He was what a friend of mine described as an iron fist in a velvet glove. The velvet glove was used to comfort, assist, and gently guide anyone who needed. The iron fist, more often than not, was used to put fellow elders in their proper place. I am biased, but I believe he fit closely the example Jesus gave with the recorded kindness and forgiveness for the Ama-Ahrets, and the way he came down, hard, on the Pharisees. He was finally put out to pasture when my mother developed Alzheimer's, and I remember him saying a number of times, "Jehovah's Witnesses have love on their lips, but none in their hearts."
