As far as the WTS is concerned, "asking questions" is the problem.
Exactly. In WT land there is no such thing as questions that cannot be answered, only answers that cannot be questioned.
this is the letter i wrote back in '96 about the parousia.
following the '95 watchtower that disconnected the "generation" from 1914 i began to look carefully at end-time prophecy and soon discovered what i knew were basic errors in what i had been taught.. i was a loyal jw at the time and was still serving as an elder.
i used only watchtower publications in my research.

those of us with a watchtower background probably see the memorial as normal.. at least, we're used to it.. we can forget how weird it seems to an outsider.. it's like inviting a group out to dinner, having meals placed on the table, and then explaining to them why no one present should be partaking of any of it because it's really intended for someone else..
The passing of the bread and wine by men all dressed in black suits was so bizarre.
Not to mention that they all feel one MUST touch the glass and plate or it doesn't count.
I told a PIMI friend that IF it happened that I showed up for the big event that when it came time to pass the wine and crackers that I would take time to put on surgical gloves first. They had a fit about that, claiming that I would be showing disrespect for the memorial, what it stood for, and for any of the "anointed" who may be present. I told them I just wanted to show the same respect for health that THEY were showing by demanding that everyone mask up, use hand sanitizer, and distance from each other because I didn't know where they had put their hands or if they had washed them.
like many, i’ve been bemused at lloyd evan’s excuses/reasons for his lusting after prostitutes.
apparently, as he claims in his disastrous video, he blames his wife for being inadequate between the sheets.. could the real answer to his ‘problem’ be closer to home?.
perhaps if he consulted a medical person or even a sex therapist he may learn his “problem” is not down to the borg at all, it may simply be caused by his weight i.e.
I must admit, I've tried to keep well away from all the Cedars debate because 'celebrity' for want of a better term, doesn't interest me.
Agreed. The saying, "Don't feed the trolls," comes into play. I am sure someone who loves to be the center of attention will take it, even if it is negative attention. He seems to be getting plenty attention.
i cannot find written anywhere that after 6 months without preaching activities reported you are considered an inactive jw.. where is this written?
or is it a non-written rule?.
thanks..
Even so, inactive ones are still our brothers and sisters, and we love them.
I never cease to be amazed how openly they can lie with a straight face!
the watchtower—study edition | february 2022. study article 6. do you trust in jehovah’s way of doing things?.
15 as the end of this system of things draws near, we need to trust in jehovah’s way of doing things as never before.
during the great tribulation, we may receive instructions that seem strange, impractical, or illogical.
Likely? Might? May? Sounds an awful lot like people who in reality are know nothings trying to impress the gullible with what they [think they] know.
a lot of pimos are reporting that returning to the meetings is backfiring in that covid is spreading among the members returning.. post;.
so last saturday was my first meeting back in person and well it completely backfired.
last night i got a text from my group overseer saying that someone in the hall tested positive for covid and that we need to get tested(great 🎉).. honestly i kinda expected this.
why have so many brothers have died from covid?
At the start of the COVID scamdemic one of t he governing body tubbies claimed that following all of their mandates was the same as listening to God himself, and that would protect JW's from the effects of the COVID. Their implication was that only unfaithful ones would die.
Of course they were blowing air out their . . .
so last night my bible study group was discussing the healing of the blind man in john's gospel.
ch 9 .
the man's parents were reluctant to say much on the subject.
the burning desire to be with them became one motivating factor in his restoring his
relationshipmembership withJehovahW.T.B.&T.$
There are so many things wrong with that statement I cannot even begin to list them.
several files in the folder including:.
2022-april-elders manual.. 2022 april addendum.
working together safely12 files total.
Thank you for these files.
I notice that the governing body in their April 2022 addendum to the Shepherd The Flock Book says, "Under these circumstances, it is wise to refrain from defending your faith."
Yet the Bible that they profess to follow, and claim is the inspired words of Jehovah God Himself says, "15 But sanctify the Christ as Lord in your hearts, always ready to make a defense before everyone who demands of you a reason for the hope you have."
What they tell the eldurrs is in direct opposition to the Bible. Why am I not surprised? What is the biblical penalty for obeying men rather than God?

so apparently robert hendricks the spin doctor of the wt society has been proudly telling news channels how wonderful the wt org has been during the 2 years of the pandemic, checking in with each and every member to meet their needs on a weekly basis.. except, based on the comments of former jw friends on facebook, it's news to most of them since they are screaming out that they were totally neglected by the elders/ms throughout most of that period.
a couple even said that because of being ignored by the congregation during this time, that they have walked away completely.
WT may eventually be approached for some sort of compensation by vaccine injured JWs that felt undue influence from WT to accept the experimental injections.
I for one certainly hope so! In my area I personally know of nearly one dozen people who have either had severe health issues that were initially listed as potential side effects of the jab or outright died because of side effects which were listed in the beginning of the COVID jab hysteria. All of them JW's who were obeying The Slave.

Yet, believe it or not , JWs were told that these government-sponsored gift boxes were evidence of Jehovah taking care of them.
Kind of like this email I received less than two months ago (sent to the entire contacts list of an eldurr):
"You can follow the link in the email and order 4 free COVID home test kits. It is nice to know that The Slave is always watching out for us. While it is a decision that each family head should make please remember that this is another way we can show our respect for life, and our obedience to The Slave."
