Jackson when saying, "It would SEEM presumptuous. . ." was implying that it would seem that way to those who did not drink the 'kool-aid'. He never said it would BE presumptuous.
i understand he intimated that the faithful slave was not the only spokesman for jehovah god.
he also intimated that corporal punishment was not advocated by the wts.
we're these lies or deception or did they represent the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth?.

what was the standard of quick builds.
did they cut corners, ignore building regulations, were they unsafe .
Quickbuilds have been often plagued with mold
The hall I used to go to had that happen. Hail damaged the $60,000 concrete roofing that was sold as never needing replaced or repaired and the JW roofers who replaced it roofed right over all the HVAC and sewer vents. Then COVID hit and for three years that hall sat empty with sewer gas, and HVAC condensate filling up the interior. Coupled with landscaping that ran run-off water towards the building they have had to remove all the brick work, replace all the wall sheathing, and many of the wall studs. Then they keep "reminding" the ones still going to "show your love for Jehovah and remember to donate for the high cost of this repair."
They should have just demolished the building and sent the remaining members to the hall in the next town ten miles (US) over.

2 - "however, a question may arise: 🤣 what will happen to christ’s “other sheep” who will be serving jehovah faithfully on earth during the “great tribulation”?
(john 10:16; matt.
Some today may worry that they will feel lost or abandoned when their beloved anointed brothers and sisters are taken to heaven."
No. IF there was to be any worry on my part it would be worry about the idiots that cannot see the deceit in claiming not to beleive in a Rapture, and yet still claiming that "anointed" will be TAKEN to heaven. What was that saying about a rose?
if not, what's in it for the gb?.
but seriously, how is it supposed to work?
pictures of jws in paradise show them raising crops, wearing clothes and building houses.
No money needed. remember the bible says if you don't work you won't eat, so you will be busting you a-- for some un-thankful elder building his lavish elder house in exchange for a crust of bread. Then he will come build your grass hut in exchange for a table full of food that can barely be held up by the table legs, and probably want your kids to fan him with palm leaves, while you feed him.

time for a new business model?.
.
They play games with commonly understood definitions to deceive.
Exactly! Just like they claim not to believe in a Rapture, yet claim that all remaining anointed will be "called away" before Armageddon.
Rapture-no, called away-yes. Tithing-no, enforced "voluntary" giving-yes.

the message seems to be to give more than you have been giving
Exactly. I've mentioned before that my father died before I was able to complete moving all his financial accounts into joint accounts with me to protect them from having to be handed over to WTB&T$$$$. As a result they got nearly a seven figure payout when he died. All I got for doing what I legally had to do as executor was a letter asking it they were going to get MORE. greedy bastards!

Chapter 26
• Par. 14 pt. 2: Inserted a sentence stating that it is not appropriate for individuals to take the initiative to collect funds privately or to use social media to solicit funds to assist congregations affected by disasters.
Never let it be said that WT promotes individual love or fellow feeling or compassion for others in their members!
so everyone knows the “big news” of this past weekend, no more reporting of hours, placements, return visits, etc.
beginning november 1, jws just tick a box indicating whether they “shared in any form of the ministry during the month”.. so there was a brief comment by a redditor that seems like a brief joke “throwaway comment” but after thinking about it….why not?.
the idea is, what is “any form of the ministry”?
you can’t help but end up with a worldwide body of morons.
That's already the case. In the future they will only be HALF-ONs.
my grandmother, an immigrant from austria, was.
two of my aunts, their husbands, both elders, various cousins and two of my sisters are witnesses.
so is my grand uncle.
a few greedy elders will try to get money or things beforehand.
The same elder that made the suit comment to me was named executor of an elderly JW woman. When she died he accessed her home before any inventory of the estate could be made and carted off a whole trunk-load of valuable collectibles that were never seen again, and then he even bragged about it!

How often are the sick and infirm neglected. Is that a 'thing' among Witnesses?
Yes, yes it is. Near the end of her life my mother who was by that time suffering from advance dementia was openly ridiculed. My father who was still at that time an elder took the "for better or worse, in sickness or health" vow very seriously so he stayed with her at home taking care of her. Not one single person from their hall would stop by because as one of them told me, "It is so embarrassing to see how her mental health has declined."
After she died my father also developed dementia and was pretty well house bound. Again not one single person from the hall would come by to visit. One elder came to tell me that I should put him in a home, and that my dad had refused to let them take his suit to the cleaners. I told him well at least when he dies of loneliness he can be buried in a clean suit!
My sister and I and a DF'd relative were his only company or caregivers for the last months of his life. At least we met his request to die at home not in a facility among strangers.
I remember what he said in one of his more clear moments, "Jehovah's Witnesses have "love" on their lips, but NONE in their hearts!"
