a lot of religious folks can have an open-minded discussion about their beliefs without getting defensive.
some can actually consider things from another point of view and point out the validity in the other person's point.
obviously, a lot of jws may just be scared to think/speak in a semi-detrimental way about their religion.

I told him in have two uncles that have eight year degrees in divinical studies from major universities. You aren't even allowed to research the history of your organization much less have any type of secular religious education.

there was a recent thread on another site where posters maintained that many of the *most* long-standing jw's don't believe at least one official watchtower doctrine.
i've even read reports from bethelites saying they've heard bethel overseers say they don't believe some watchtower theology.
this made me think - i believe there are a few official doctrines that are common for many jw's to be either in denial about or simply not really believe ( often one and the same thing).. i'd say these are pretty high in the ranking:.
I don't think the average jw likes to admit they essentially teach salvation though works and obedience and there dogma is one is outside of having a relationship with God.
after being a jw made me lose trust in religion, from the lies, hypocrisy and greed of this organization made me lose faith completely.
what does one do after this mind f$%@, what is there to look forward to?
do i make up my own agnostic theory in head and hope for the best?
Call me crazy but I think the whole of the watchtower is to make you an atheist to begin with.

I hope you realize that the WTS uses planned parenthood rulings when dealing with pregnant mothers and the issue of giving a women a blood transfusion to save the life of her unborn child. Guess what, it's a fetus with no rights as a person according to the WTS.
I have often thought it was kind of rich for the WTS to worry about things 4H or girls scouts while pulling shit like that.
