I noticed that a lot if not all JWs I watch on FB now have private Freinds and photos

some have done it for a while but in the last couple of years most all of the jws from my old congregation and others i know have privatized the fb and other social pages.

i wonder if its just happenstance or if its come down from on high to shut this off to further keep them isolated from the apostates?.

What I just a kick out of , there is new convert ( maybe 3 years ) on my facebook and people still wish her happy birthday and she gives it a thumbs up and says thank you. I think she only converted for her husband I think.

Not a big thing but its funny to see little things like that.

yup - person has done nothing wrong.

but they have called a judicial and from what i can tell refusing to wear a facemask is bothering them more than the person not turning up.. so is this new light?

if you have been called to a judical please remember to stay safe and wear your personal protective equimpment.

i seem to notice lots of dubs don’t have any trace of being a jw on facebook. No assembly pictures, no links, no bible quotes , nothing.

Where have the NWT Bible changed verses to fit their theology ?

There is a quote in the book of Hebrews that is a direct quote from the Old Testament where is changes back to Lord or the verse would say Jesus is jehovah.

From my minor studies on the subject if the New Testament is to be taken at face value , it appears the Tetragrammaton is applied both to god and Christ equally. The addition and subjecting of the word jehovah really changes things. It’s not a minor change. It basically creates a new religion.

I am not really sure this is a rabbit hole I want to go down.
