"The G.B. is neither inspired nor infallible"
by smiddy inthat admission in the feb.17 ,study edition of the watchtower , " who is leading gods people today ?
" "the governing body is neither inspired, nor infallible, therefore it (they/we) can err in doctrinal matters or in organizational direction .".
have the many jehovahs witnesses past and present who have lost their lives by refusing blood transfusions due to the prohibition on blood tranfusions by jehovahs witnesses really got the sense of this statement ?.

I am amazed at their attempt to provide evidence proving that they are the FDS. They provide a short list outlining the best possible evidence that they can currently provide.
They claim that their clearer understanding of scripture could only be made possible if they were been helped by holy spirit. However, they admit they are not inspired by holy spirit and as a consequence of this, their clearer understanding of scripture could actually be false. Am I missing something or have they just discredited the very evidence they are attempting to use?
Not only do most religions claim to be in procession of the same evidence, they also have it in greater abundance.
Most Christians also reject the watchtower's clearer understanding as lacking in sufficient scriptural support.

How do you prove the watchtower organisation is not genuine using recent evidence?
by punkofnice inwhen i was a jobo, i would say that anything in jobo history, eg.
miracle wheat, beth sarim et al (old light), wasn't worth considering as evidence that the wbt$ was a weirdo cult.. i think that's probably the jobo mindset now.. what would you show them from very recent lies teachings to encourage them to consider the possibility the wbt$ is a scam?.

My Explanation of Why They Got it Wrong About Blood Using Only the NWT
by cofty in10 " any israelite or any alien living among them who eats any bloodi will set my face against that person who eats blood and will cut him off from his people.
12 therefore i say to the israelites, "none of you may eat blood, nor may an alien living among you eat blood.
15 'anyone, whether native-born or alien, who eats anything found dead or torn by wild animals must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be ceremonially unclean till evening; then he will be clean.

It was the inability of anyone to come up with a scripturally superior counter argument on jwtalk which demonstrated how unassailable this line of reasoning really is. It provides the watchtower with a scripturally sound reason for the preservation life through the use of blood from another living person.
Cofty, you could be a great theist. With your ability to reason from the scriptures, people would easily be prepared to hand over their time and money to you.

After the needless death of Eloise Dupuis, I think cofty's excellent explanation of why the watchtower has gotten the bible's viewpoint on blood completely wrong, deserves more exposure.

Morning Woship: Kenneth Flodin targets "apostates"
by Sanchy invideo is entitled "beware of deceit" he uses the letter of jude to show that current day apostates are deceitful and that they use "trickery" to and "twist facts" to try to "grab our mind".
warning: your head might explode.
especially past the 5:30 mark.

Flodin claims apostates are afraid to reason with them from the scriptures because the witnesses would see through their twisted interpretation. The facts show It was Jeffery Jackson who was afraid to engage in a scriptural discussion on the two witness rule with the Royal Commission. When forced to turn up to defend their interpretation, it was his scriptural reasoning which was found to be flawed.

What the Org Teaches #4 There Are Two Ways to Get Sins Wiped Out
by The Searcher in#4 there are two ways to get sins wiped outthe following five scriptures lay the foundation stone of christianity, namely, that christ died for people's sins.
virtually every christian denomination on earth accepts these bible statements without question: .
(matthew 26:28) "....this means my ‘blood of the covenant,’ which is to be poured out in behalf of many for forgiveness of sins.

The first part of Romans 6:23 shows that death is the payment or consequence of sin - not the absolution of it. It says nothing about death wiping out sins - only the consequences.
The second part (and numerous other scriptures) then clearly shows the basis for forgiveness is not achieved by physically dying, but by figuratively dying and trusting in Jesus Christ - just as Romans 6:7 directs. Thanks searcher I agree with this.
According to the scriptures, we have all inherited from our original "parents" the condition of death which they brought upon themselves.
Why did God design things in such a way that sin would be passed on from Adam and Eve to all future generations? Was he obliged to design things this way or was it by choice?

For anyone who is studying with J.W.'s, ask your study conductor these two questions:
"Why did Jesus have to die if a person's own death wipes out their sins?"
"Does this teaching not mean that a mass murderer who is killed by police, automatically receives forgiveness for his evil acts because he's been shot dead?"As I was an active JW until recently, let me see how the organisations response holds up under scrutiny.
The wages sin pays is death, so as long as the mass murderer remains dead he has paid or is continuing to pay for his sins. If he is no longer dead, due to having being resurrected, then he is no longer paying the wages for his sins and therefor must ultimately die again. To avoid having to die again Jesus dies in his place. As long as Jesus remains dead in the flesh, the wages for sins is paid on behalf of everyone who wants to benefit from this arrangement.

Maybe Jehovah is timing things just right. It would be a shame if they lost their charitable status just before they sold Mill Hill. I am sure they are motivated to sell up quick.

Now that Britain will exit the European Union, the watchtower may not be able to rely upon European law to defend them?
