You might start remembering the scripture that says, “The wages sin pays is death...” and that the resurrection will be of the “righteous and The unrighteous...” Then, in your state of mental illness brought on by the ingrained indoctrination you’ve been subjected to, you decide that though suicide is a sin, it’s okay because when you die, you’ve paid for your sins and Jehovah’s going to resurrect the unrighteous too.
You then decide to take your own life.
Do you see how these Pharisees’ rules in New York can have control over someone?
If you think this scenario is far fetched, think again. It’s very close to something similar I went through at one point in my life...even to the point of putting a gun in my mouth. I’m very fortunate that I was able to stop myself and try to just make it to the end of the day.

JWs don’t break up families
by Jules Saturn ini get very angry when i hear this claim being made by jws and get even angrier when i read the article they have on their faq section on jw.org which i’ll leave a link here:.

i know that the majority of this article is written about having a spouse that isn’t a believer and how the bible encourages them to stay together but that’s one of the things that can cause division in a family, for an example if a son or daughter marry a nonbeliever or a worldly person the parents aren’t going to attend the wedding.. once i was told by an elder that if i continued with my behavior of wanting to seek worldly friends and worldly companionship that i would have to leave my home because the holy spirit would leave my house and that would have a huge impact on my family.

Did Jesus pre exist? Yes or no?
by UnshackleTheChains inwhen i first became a witness, i always found the teaching about jesus being the arch angel michael hard to swallow.
i did however believe that jesus pre existed as a master worker alongside god (the first of his creation).. but now everything is brought into question having watched anthony buzzard explain why jesus could not have pre existed as it is impossible to pre exist yourself.
also the fact that it all sounds contradictory to suggest, he was already alive millions of years before he was transferred to mary's womb to be born as a human - the son of man?.

i'm all for these two major world military powers to put away their differences and find way to work together on common problems they face.. they need to cooperate with each other even in their cyber warfare.

In Cuba it seems to "work" okayish. I've been there myself. Although people are poor (in our view) they don't seem to mind much, they have what they need. Capitalism does increase overall wealth though. But it also needs a lot of regulations and control, otherwise (big) companies optimize for themselves (monopoly abuse) or form a cartel. It's not black/white.
Cuba? Really? You're going to hold Cuba up as a shining example and just completely ignore their human rights abuses?
Oh wait. I forgot. You're in favor of communism. I should have known you wouldn't care about human rights.
The right of the individual to succeed and excel and be rewarded for his or her* work is paramount to my philosophy. When success is penalized by a society, that society is not one I want to be a part of and is one that I will fight against with every fiber of my being.
